Is Corrupted Drifa a "bad" ending for her?

To be blunt, I kinda assumed that Drifa getting corrupted was a "bad" result similar to Ahmri becoming a demon. I played around with her content a bit recently though, and it turns out Corrupted Drifa is... surprisingly tame?

I was expecting her to turn into a mindless sex pest who's a step away from Demonhood, but she's actually still just as lucid and aware a she was pre-corruption, if lacking a few inhabitions. She's much hornier, yes, but not any more so than a character like Cait or Brint.

She can still be married, taken on dates, have regular healthy kids, etc. Her demeanor and outlook on life change, sure, but that's it. She doesn't become evil, either (or at least not yet)

What to do you all think? Is Corrupted Drifa a bad thing or simply a sidegrade where she as a person changes semi-organically?

I would say side grade, though I'll point out that I didn't dig too much into corrupt Drifta as her changed personality isn't my exact cup of tea.

Though that does remind me I need to do another run at some point at actually see how different the corrupt options from the uncorrpt are, cause from what I recall Viviane felt like a side grade too...

I haven't messed with them all too much, but from what I've seen:

  • Demon Viv is more or less the same as Normal Viv, with some slightly changed dialogue. I think the fact that she's so interested in her work keeps her semi-grounded like Farrah.
  • Demon Ahmri is a bad end for her. It could be worse I guess, but the original Ahmri is more or less dead.
  • Corrupted Zo (happens if you choose not to intervene or lose the centaur fight) is a very bad end, she does nothing but jill off and have sex all day every day.
  • Corrupted Drifa is mostly a side grade? She's more or less the same person deep down, just much less shy and innocent.
  • Demon Gytha is a very bad end for her.
  • Demon Jaelyn is a bad end, but it could be worse as she remains a horny bitch even if you send her to the Frost Hound.

There are other corruptable characters but these are the only ones I know anything about.

My incredibly wild crackhead theory is that at some point waaaaay later into the story, we're gonna get a Wayfort Defense mission where it's besieged by demons, and each unique character staying at the Wayfort adds or subtracts from some kind of defense score, similar to the "Hold the Line" segment of Mass Effect 2's Suicide Mission.

Characters like Karithea, Alante and Pure Drifa would add to your defense score by defending the fort, while characters like Demon Ahmri and Demon Jaelyn would subtract from it by betraying you and/or sowing corruption among your troops. Characters like Demon Viv, San & Cae, and the Behemoth I could see going either way. They're not necessarily good or anti-demon, but the Wayfort is their home and they may not want it to fall.

I've been further spurred on by the existence of the Weapons Shipment you can give to either Daliza or Garth. There may even be a Hawkethorne Defense alongside it (Elf Jaelyn, Drifa, Liulfr, Liaden, etc. would be used for the calculations, with a huge boost if you built the Temple of Mallach) to determine if the village falls when attacked.

Of course, there's a very large chance I'm going totally off the deep end here, but it's fun to imagine.
