What I usually do if I encounter something that I may not particularly want or not ready for is just reload my last save and try again, as these things do tend to be random, at least from my experience. And it's not that much of an inconvenience to save often.

I loved this shit to pieces thought it was funny as hell. Twas a noice lil mix up for the usual becky let me smash. Especially the cafeteria scene just something about a 16 ft Zinogre Steele with a massive shit eating grin thinking” You aren’t the first to challenge me like this and you won’t be the last.” really warmed my heart, and those references are fucking great. Good on ya Robo for writing a bunch of characters I actually enjoyed upstaging the MC for once. Golly good show

As a side note its bullshit saying ya baby Steele isn’t a special snowflake. I mean one of my biggest gripes is that you’re always Steele Jr no matter what. Even if you fight off a dragon, stop a zambie plague, run black ops, changing lives across the cosmos with the power of snu snu or swallowing a medicine cabinet worth TFs and becoming a freak of nature. You never come into your own if lv 20 is gonna be our max lv cap down the line. It means we’re “halfway” into this and everyone still sees you as victor’s kid instead of that guy fucking up on the frontier. But, I can see where peeps on the other side of the fence are coming from. Savin summed it up best. You’re not playing yourself in CoC or TiTs you’re playing the part of blanky blanky. This isn’t a New Vegas where you fill in the gapes with your choices that make your character along the way, but more of a Witcher where your stuck playing a role you’ll always be baby Steele not matter what. Still it be nice to get some credit down the line to shake up how the world sees you.

Eh fook it most if not all vidja games at their core are power fantasies used as an escape to get away with shit you know you could never do or wouldn’t ever do irl. Now if you meant those asshats who think every Npc that doesn’t bend over for you needs a killing or a brutal mind breaking and every waifu needs to be a pure maiden. Then hell’s ya I’m with ya sister, but the way you wrote it now just seems really kink shamey to people who prefer a dominant role and that’s just fucked up man like different strokes for different folks got to at least respect that.

Yeah, I was specifically referring to the 'murderboner' types of players. I generally tend towards the dominant side of the game myself, but I've noticed a disturbing amount of "doms" who are unable to handle the universe not being entirely full of sumbissives for them, personally - and I've only been here for a little over a week.

Seriously, the amount of people who've said they want to assault or kill Sera, Zephyr, Riya, etc... is absurd and kinda disturbing. Its perfectly alright to be annoyed by content in the game, especially if the author reacts particularly poorly to criticism*, but the kind of reaction seen last page is unjustifiable.

*Not that I'm accusing Questy of this.

Secondly, you aren't a "character who's a butt jockey for endless strings of other people's oh so cleverly written OC's" unless you specifically go for that (Shizuya's content doesn't even force you to do anything like that).

There's nothing wrong with letting your complaints known, but saying things like;

These characters aren't the first instance of this in the game. It's just the latest, and perhaps the worst, in my estimation. Also, yes, I was quite vehement in my complaints, toxic even... but so are all of you that are personally attacking me. None of you reflect any better on the community than I did with my whining.


Also, as a sidenote... I'd played the game through many, many times with every class before I started using cheats... that was just to spice things up. I have a few hundred hours in TiTS. Grinded a lot of characters at the Ten Ton Gym, enjoyed much of the content over and over... avoided Doctor Badger on every run... And now the list of things to avoid keeps getting bigger.

Though, regardless. Don't kink shame me~

can we please just drop it this tread has been derailed enough already and we get it you dont like the content but ranting about on the forums wont change a thing and yes some scenes can be misleading at times especially if there new addition to the game ,but if you read the character description and subtext then that all the warning you need to what your about to get in to or better yet check the wiki.
