[Implemented] B/Fucking Bronco Saloon for New Texas

WE'RE DONE! WE'VE SUBMITTED! IT'S IN! The BFucking Bronco Saloon is finished, for now at least. This will now be submitted by itself, with most of the NPCs released seperately. You are still welcome to write an NPC for the saloon, but it will be implemented after this project.

Sexable NPCs are going to have their own documents that will be linked to from the master Gdoc.

Absolutely massive thanks to @HugsAlright for his Living Kegs. They turned out great.


The brothel is now named "The Broodmare Bordello", but locals refer to it as "The Cathouse" because the madam is a kaithrit and almost half the whores are her daughters.

The "Fucking Bronco", the dildo machine in the center of the saloon, is finished, as is the drink menu and the food menu. All I need is a location for the saloon on New Texas. I've suggested a location to Fen and he said "maybe I'll move it. It's a mysterrrrry". I just need a final round of editing and then I'm going to submit it. Thanks to everybody who helped edit this project, especially @shadefalcon . Thanks to everybody on the Discord who I bounced ideas off off and shitposted at to distract myself from work. Thanks to people who provided ideas in the thread and Discord, and thanks to @Altair Hayes for his help in the initial planning and in choosing a location for the saloon.

I noticed the New Texas doesn't have a bar. What kind of paradise planet doesn't have a watering hole? So I think it's high time to remedy this.

Given the nature of New Texas, I think a saloon would be perfect. You could even have a cowgirl brothel upstairs for the tourists who haven't gotten lucky yet. I don't have a name pinned down yet, but I've got a few ideas. "Brass Bull" came to mind first, but it seems a tad dark. I also thought of "The Bucking Bronco" with someone having crossed out the B on the sign and written an F over it. If anyone else has ideas for names, please let me hear them.

Ideas for NPCs would also be welcome, but I'm not going to write up your waifu/husbando for you unless they turn out to be fucking incredible and perfectly in sync with my tastes. I'm mainly looking for flavor NPCs, stuff like "six-armed robot bartender" or "comically large piano player in a teeny-tiny bowler hat who is also the bouncer."

Ideas for unique drinks also welcome, as are pretty much any other ideas you guys might have, such as where this thing would go.

I don't believe that's the case. There's no indication that they serve alcohol there, at least that I'm aware of.

I'm under the assumption that that is suppose to be the bar place because every bar so far in game has a large TV/view screen with a Steph Irson Episode. It's possible that it hasn't been expanded upon to make it a full bar yet.

I think those TVs are put there more out of convenience/habit than anything. The bar on Tavros doesn't have a TV, but that doesn't make it not a bar. The TV is more correlation than causation.

In retrospect I did have the idea for a Pregnancy themed bar where all the waitresses are knocked up. If @Night Trap is up for a bit of collaboration I could toss in a few characters while dialing down the pregnancy theme.

In retrospect I did have the idea for a Pregnancy themed bar where all the waitresses are knocked up. If @Night Trap is up for a bit of collaboration I could toss in a few characters while dialing down the pregnancy theme.

I wouldn't say no to a spot of pregnancy content. The way I currently envision this project is that I'm going to create the building, add a couple NPCs to it, and then leave it open for folks who want to insert any character that doesn't really fit elsewhere on New Texas. Hell, there might could be something in the fluff about getting a tax write-off for hiring pregnant women.

I kind of like the Broodmare or something similar because it fits pretty well thematically... maybe it would just be called the Cathouse by locals? I'll have to think about that. I'm adding it to the poll either way.

This is 98% finished now. The Broodmare Bordello will not be a location you can travel to on the map. The prostitutes will just be found in and around the saloon and take you upstairs to the brothel. I just need to write the dialogue for the bartender James, and wait for the Living Kegs to be finished. Then I can submit this. The other NPCs are going in separately (unless I have a long time to wait for implementation), but the dildo ride scenes are complete (and could use some editing).

What's new since you may have last looked:
1. We have menus for food and drinks now.
2. There's a stage in the saloon now, setting the groundwork for a later expansion for an event involving some half-rodenian girls.
3. The Fucking Bronco has been completed.

What remains to be finished:
1. The talk options for the android bartender, James.
2. Implementing the Living Kegs, written by @HugsAlright .
