Can we have a list somewhere here thats stickyed or something for games that are primarily gay focused? almost all the games on the list here are straight and while thats fine i wouldnt mind something i could play and enjoy as well without having to scrounge around every topic thread like a detective as nealy none of them mention what content are in their games.

After remembering about how Blackgate seems to be a good game, I searched for it on the forums and I came across several threads that discuss about M/M contents (because that's what you mean with "gay", right?). Sadly, "gay", "yaoi" and "m/m" are short words which the search bar won't find.

Foxxling made a list of gay flash games, though I'm also curious if there's any full on gay games in the works.
That's essentially par for the course on TFGameSite. You'll have more luck looking elsewhere, but it can be difficult finding sites that have large collections to peruse.
It's hard to market to 2-3% of the population in a large scale game.
Larger percentages have transformation fetishes, or gender neutral play style... A lot of straight guys like playing as a girl just to have an extra girl in the picture instead of a guy, for example...

Depends. I remember that pornhub did a survey thing and that the second most searched type of porn for women was gay porn. The first was lesbian.

Most 'pollers' like that lump anything with two penises into 'gay porn'.
While adult gamers wouldn't necessarily consider futa, male / female trans, or apocalyptic type games that feature some male / male or futanari stuff 'gay', per se; the population at large does, and i feel they get lumped in.
Also, the internet is larger than the game-making world... Take Asian countries where gay lifestyle is significantly more accepted than in western cultures is probably lumped into that statistic as well, yet there aren't many wester Japanese / Chinese linguists, so those games are largely lost to us.
The lack of a large number of gay inspired games and indeed the thread itself, sort of lends to the fact there there aren't anywhere near as many large scale games in this genre.

I'm not sure what planet your Asia is on, but I'd kind of like to live there. In asian cultures on this one, 'it's fine in fiction but not for real life' is the prevailing opinion. Coincidentally, most male/male stuff from Asia is aimed exclusively at women.
Edit: Just realized i should add what I can, so while idk how you feel about using VNR, Black Grimoire is a good RPGMaker game, and there's also DRAMAtical Murder. Nearly anything Nitro+Chiral makes is high quality, tbh. They do have a tendency towards violence and being disturbing though, but DM is safe enough for almost anyone. DM also has a fanmade english patch by Aarinfantasy, who do have a somewhat decent list of gay games of varying quality on their forums.

I agree with the actual point of the OP: instead of posting links to multiple old "gay game recommendations?" threads every time someone comes on here asking for one, we should make a sticky thread. In fact, I think it'd help to make multiple different stickies with recommendations for different popular genres and fetishes.

You mean affection-level? Too expensive?
Click your harem and get cash from them, do daily Missions under activities, Adventure for story and do battles with the world boss for cash.
There are also contests where you can win cash.
Then go to the Market and give gifts to your Harem. Eventually you can afford to upgrade.
The higher affection the more money they give you.

IIRC, the artist was mentaiko, if that makes it easier to find. I got it from a torrent site, so I don't know what else to tell ya :/
Just looked it up to be sure. The artist wasn't Mentaiko, but Naop. They're fairly similar though, so if you like one...

Yeah. I needed to use a program called VNR to enjoy it. It autotranslates all the text; although it's basically a google translation, it's still better than nothing.

I usually use ChiiTrans2, but it's not good at all) I also was able to install Android simulator with standard translator and used some screen capturing techniques to stream game's window into the simulator as it was an Android camera and translate real time with letter recognition. It was kind of cool, but also unreliable. I wish Japanese creators adapt their bara games to Western market themselfs. It's not clear why they don't do it, they could earn much more money.
