You know if we're just posting m/m games, I'm shocked no one has mentioned Xax yet. He writes my very favourite gay monster fiction, and has maybe 4 twine games, and an ongoing project called hell game, that, while very much in alpha, has some excellent sex scenes and weird transformation content.

His patreon, with the aformentioned hell game
and some of the twine games are:
Space marines
Adolescent lycanthrope
deep within the forest

i seem to remember him having more than that that i can't find? and a bunch of awesome original gay monster porn fiction on his blog

While I can't speak for everyone else, I personally avoid mentioning projects that are featured on the forums here. Hell Game is one of those. That said, I wasn't aware xax had other games out and about.

The search function doesn't work so linking even games posted on the forum would be useful. I certainly do not know any.
As for xax, I knew of him but I didn't follow his patreon as I'm not a fan of furry so I forgot. I have a handful of such projects that i know of but don't follow for one reason or another... I'll probably search for these later

I think, there should also be a mentioning of "Flexible Survival" in this thread. While it has an amount of non-gay content, there is also a (growing) part of very well writing M/M content. With some practise it is also possible to avoid undesired content and there is a lot of great guy-on-guy action to discover. And not just furry but regular humans as well. It is indeed fun to play, albeit a bit grindy at points. Still, I can recomment it.

Didn't Flexible Survival have ways to opt out of certain fetishes and pairings already?

it does, but that does not work entirely correct in the way it is intended. some stuff is warded/protected by opting out of certain pairing despite not being of that kind because of weird flags. For example, if you opt out of girls you will never encounter the Leather Wolves, which has an NPC who is very much interested in submissive male PC and is a guy himself, yet he won't appear since the first encounter has a "female flag" attached to it. It is the only time that ever happens, yet the entire follow-up event chain is prevented by that flag and you opting out any "female flags".

There are two ways to opt-out in FS. One way, banning, removes all that content from the game. The other way, warding, makes it so that you won't get that content from random encounters. With that, you can still actively search out things like the leather wolves to get the rest of the event chain.

Neither way perfectly removes all of the opted-out content. Some things here and there slip through but it's overall pretty good.

Here are some new visual novels I've discovered. All about demon guys, what I like the most. The art is not super realistic, something between bara and yaoi. Looks nice enough, though. Let's help them to raise enough money to finish it.
They have good demos, try it.
The first one:

and the second:

Seems like they are from Japanese guys, means a lot of different sex promised, no limits to one date :D

Neither one are from Japanese devs. That said, they do clearly draw lots of inspiration from that style of VN.

I'm pretty sure I had found both of those while googling but I didn't bother saving them cause they had non reversible partners, and it looks like I was right. What a waste :/

might be just me but why does anything tagged "bl" or "yaoi" look terrible? doubly so when "yaoi" and "bara" are used to describe the same thing when neither of them are synonyms at all lmao

I think the bl+bara+yaoi tagging is just to smear as many terms for m/m content together for maximum search engine relevance.

For MMDL, one of the demons is vers and will top or bottom. The other two will either only top or only bottom, so they have one of each preference type. Can't speak to the other one, but in the demo, they were clearly the type to prefer one or the other, so i don't know that they'll actually be vers. Then again, I don't know that they won't.

Seeds of Chaos has some gay scenes you could get involved in. The main option is a big demon guy and another is with a dwarf. There might be more but I haven't checked everything yet.

this one is surprisingly good. I was skeptical about that creator, since he wrote that he's just learning programming, but I liked the theme he's chosen. And he made this short text game. Very hot, though, and well written. Check it out.
Sorry, but you realise the guy shows NOTHING if you're not a patron? Nothing at all? Not even as much as a screenshot or even name? Expecting people to subscribe to even get the first idea of what they're subscribing to (the descriptions in his overview are so vague as to be basically meaningless) is such a mug's game that I'm not surprised he only has 15 patrons.

bah, even the description is in japanese. I've kind of fallen out of love with translation programs for games, since it's just an extra layer of hassle.

I know... But the art is very good. I'm constantly asking Japanese authors to translate their games, but they never respond :( I don't know why. The translation process can be quite simple, if you have an experience with software production. It's just very routing work, but it's easy to delegate to a professional translator or community (if you don't want to spend money)). I hope sooner or later Japanese creators will find it out.

Btw, what translating program are you using these days? I used to use "Visual Novel Reader", but it doesn't seem to work anymore.
