Is that some Last Wording I hate Last Wording
thanks for the explanation.
You're welcome. Again, I'm no scholar, but I felt that should do as an introduction to guro, old and new. I agree with the rest of your message, by the way.

The rules post explicitly says "don't talk about the following submission-banned content"
It doesn't feature the word "guro" anywhere, which is what I meant. The way vore, scat (unrelated to dem sweet tunes) underaged and gore may be a part of guro is a different issue altogether.

More than one thread has been closed for banned talking points, and more than a few warning points have been handed out for discussing them.
It may be my perception, but I'd swear most closed down threads were just the umpteenth case of "wen will we get for arms?", heated arguments or someone asking about CoC mod issues outside of the CoC mods subforum.

Thinking everyone here is okay with seeing or discussing transgressive pornographic content purposefully intended to be shocking and/or unsettling just because they're legal adults is a pretty massive generalization.
Let's say that 85% of total forum users here came here because of Fengames (I remember some Other Adult Games users claiming they landed on the forums for some other reasons). Fengames have a "this game contains wonky stuff, you've been warned" note in their start screen. If players can deal with wonky stuff in games they play with a degree of maturity, I take said players can talk about wonky stuff on the Fenforums with a degree of maturity.

We would, of course, need an actual mod to weigh in on that.
We do need an official list (or lists) for the games and the forums!

Does... does anyone understand what Misty and Kesil are fighting over here
Semantics and how much of guro covers the forum's banned contents pseudo-list. My guesstimation is 47'89%. I wouldn't call it a fight, though, as fighting implies a lack of civil behaviour.

Whether or not a porn term where every relevant image result from a Google search is either gore or mutilation porn despite the term technically not referring exclusively to gore or mutilation porn by literal definition is an acceptable discussion topic according to the forum rules.
My reply to Milkman was partially about how guro is more than a "porn term" and covers more than gory issues. A certain fishy captain got it right. Misusing words is not my thing and Google searches do not refect what a word means, but how a lot of people with an internet connection use it.

...phew, I really went off-topic with this. Here's hoping the jailtrain can go back to its tracks now.

Oi, behave.

This is a thread about the new and cool content of TiTs, if you want to have a wank about wanking then start up a new discussion thread somewhere. It's not hard.

Honestly for me I wasn't really put off by it I thought it was a neat idea and it seemed par for the course as other people stated. I think it opens up a lot of potential at least narrative wise. Like what if you are framed for a crime (orchestrated by your fucking cousin of course) and thrown in the hoosegow so you have to stage a epic break out with all of your former enemies. Either that or become the main prison bitch for a bad end

Yeah people keep ignoring the part where the Warden tells you (truthfully) that the prisoners volunteer for the conjugal/breeding program in exchange for reduced sentences and nicer amenities during their stay.

Relevant text:
That sort of coercive prison-slavery setup really isn't better from any moral standpoint (it could even be argued that trying to trick vulnerable people into signing up for exploitative programs is worse) but at the same time the whole concept of the prison is clearly supposed to run on the darker side in the first place.

Truthfully, the change made New Texas one of the most positive and straightforward places in the whole game. I mean seriously, compared to the literal rape jungle, the backwater junkyard hellhole, and the brutally racist war crime world, New Texas is great. It's pretty easy to see why people take the Treatment in the TiTSverse, honestly, especially when tossing things like Gastigoth onto the pile... >_>
Yeah, it may have been a concession but now New Texas is actually p. cool lorewise in the sense that it -is- easy to see why people want to escape the hypercapitalist hellhole mainstream society and pretend to be rustic on a backwater planet where the most pressing concern is what to do with all this milk. It feels like it makes sense as an escape and yet the escape, like everything else, is ultimately a marketing gimmick for more sexploitation.

MMM, Space prison break... that actually could turn into something like the CoC prisioner mod but you can use your time to break out and gather a team or go after some bad ends then steal a prototype patrol craft then precede to blow up the hanger holding the only other prototypes a la Jango Fett's Slave 1 just you had to break out of the jail not survive a prison riot started by another bounty hunter.

In my understanding of Japanese subculture, "Guro" now exclusively refers to mutilation.

(Of course its etymology is 'grotesque', but Japanese people are way more naïve than Westerners when it comes to loanword etymology.)

I appreciate the info from you all, but to stay on topic;

I wasn't expecting a scene like that being shoved in my face, and then Steele ends the conversation with: "Did you say credits?"
I would prefer if such scenes are being kept separate, or at least don't show a live feed to me. Thank you.

Eh, the email sent out is pretty clear as to what goes on in the prison. I don't see a reason to change how the encounter goes myself.

Not only that, but the staff have spoken on how this thread will not change anything, so instead of continuing this thread, how's about we let it die till a necromancer inevitably comes to raise it from the dead.

I'm in luck. These graves were dug recently.

"Mastery over life and death was chief among my early pursuits. I began in humility, but my ambition was limitless. Who could have divined the prophetic import of something as unremarkable as a twitch in the leg of a dead thread."
--Ancestor from Darkest Dungeon on his early exploits on Necromancy, seem familiar?

*Walks in with a torch* If you are going to be bringing back dead stuff can you at least do it some where so the rest of us don't have to smell it?
