Is that some Last Wording I hate Last Wording
You're welcome. Again, I'm no scholar, but I felt that should do as an introduction to guro, old and new. I agree with the rest of your message, by the way.thanks for the explanation.
It doesn't feature the word "guro" anywhere, which is what I meant. The way vore, scat (unrelated to dem sweet tunes) underaged and gore may be a part of guro is a different issue altogether. The rules post explicitly says "don't talk about the following submission-banned content"
It may be my perception, but I'd swear most closed down threads were just the umpteenth case of "wen will we get for arms?", heated arguments or someone asking about CoC mod issues outside of the CoC mods subforum.More than one thread has been closed for banned talking points, and more than a few warning points have been handed out for discussing them.
Let's say that 85% of total forum users here came here because of Fengames (I remember some Other Adult Games users claiming they landed on the forums for some other reasons). Fengames have a "this game contains wonky stuff, you've been warned" note in their start screen. If players can deal with wonky stuff in games they play with a degree of maturity, I take said players can talk about wonky stuff on the Fenforums with a degree of maturity.Thinking everyone here is okay with seeing or discussing transgressive pornographic content purposefully intended to be shocking and/or unsettling just because they're legal adults is a pretty massive generalization.
We do need an official list (or lists) for the games and the forums! We would, of course, need an actual mod to weigh in on that.
Semantics and how much of guro covers the forum's banned contents pseudo-list. My guesstimation is 47'89%. I wouldn't call it a fight, though, as fighting implies a lack of civil behaviour.Does... does anyone understand what Misty and Kesil are fighting over here
My reply to Milkman was partially about how guro is more than a "porn term" and covers more than gory issues. A certain fishy captain got it right. Misusing words is not my thing and Google searches do not refect what a word means, but how a lot of people with an internet connection use it.Whether or not a porn term where every relevant image result from a Google search is either gore or mutilation porn despite the term technically not referring exclusively to gore or mutilation porn by literal definition is an acceptable discussion topic according to the forum rules.
...phew, I really went off-topic with this. Here's hoping the jailtrain can go back to its tracks now.
