Well different strokes for different folks I guess, I haven't taken more than 2/3 turns on normal enemies in a while.

But in all seriousness I have survived, even beaten the frostwyrm with a drone techie who picked overcharge instead of volley.
It´s not as hard as we often make it out to be. It´s just that smugglers and mercs are stronger.
It´s still my favoured class.
Smugglers are the weakest from my experience. just run tech with shield hack tweaks and regen, ovecharge, drone, gun tweaks, and keep int/aim high. only had to save scum once and it was on dr. lash.
Another test on Rawhide. Tried making him a Milodan.
Milodan fits kinda the aesthetics of him, as well as the quick reproducing cycle they have could be an easy explanation for having the ungodly amount of kids he does. I thought about having his late wife be ausar, so their children would look rather interesting.
But idk, somehow it doesn't click properly with me. Plus the whole "not super into furry". I would'ave liked canine traits more than feline but what can you do. I keep concepting him up but prolly wont post all here until i start getting srs with it.
- Hardest thing atm is probably to try and convey age. Rawhide isn't a young chap but with fur it's very hard to make out wrinkles. I could try giving him whiter face-fur, that seems to be how most mammals show age on their faces ... [mumbles]
- Also you can't put tattoos on fur. Sad.

Yeah, i'm surprised as well. never really drawn anything that might qualify as "furry" before.
Still gotta play with him anatomy a bit. he doesn't look as ... big(?) as i want. He's supposed to be a tall, hulking man, which is hard to convey in art when you're only drawing one person.
it's possible though, i just gotta keep trying at it.

I mean big like, large? Tall? A sizable person in general, in all directions.
If you changed his proportions so he was a bit taller and a bit thinner, that might better sell him being really big overall.
Love your rawhide concept. He looks gorgeous. I am usually not super into the DILF/older-male type or male fat in general, but he is hot. Also I like Max (is that his current canon name, yes?) a lot. Love the tsundere vibe. Although I liked the first draft (smaller dick) a bit more, the design is up to you and your designs are great, no point in denying that.

I doubt that uplifted milodans would remain on their homeworld, due to the prejudice of the resident Toves depriving them of meaningful career advancement opportunities. More likely he would be a member of Tarvos' security, either as a permanent staff member or a mercenary on contract.

I prefer this design body wise, if only because his torso seems to lean more to proper chubbiness than sporting a musclegut or a beer belly. But I suspect furry fans who are into that type of characters would love him. I for one would pick him for my crew instead of Dane as the Token Male Canine.
Rawhide is a second generation milodan and not born on Uveto. He just did sort of loopti-loop around the galaxy.
And his company's HQ wouldn't be on the planet itself, but on the orbiting station like most offices there.
I can't really think of any other more fitting planets for the location (halp?). The toves office having a successful milodan neighbor would be an interesting drama to see.
Rawhide is way too old for becoming a crewmember - also his daughter wouldn't let him. He would love it.
Virtually all his sons work in the company, so technically you could hire the next best thing.
That is if the same daughter would allow Steele to purchase such services. Which she doesn't.

I assume milodan and ausar can breed without diffuculty. Ausar seem to be compatible with most species.

Yep, seems like it. Feels a tad weird when codex states a species can't interbreed with others due to this.

But that's what I mean. It has to explicitly say it doesn't work, because otherwise it's implied that it does. Even stuff like Leithan and human, and Leithan and Gryvain are shown to be viable, despite very different biology. And I think it's less heart you put in, and more "gallons and gallons of virile cum".
