My save must be fucked. I’m still getting the “How long has she been pregnant for, again?” And I’m 275 days in. She should have given birth by now. I’m playing the 7.104 build.

Is she in her room in the Nusery? If not, she's likely in labor (your nannydroid will confirm this if you ask where Sera is): check back in a couple of days and she'll be out and have a new child for you to name.

It might be a little dickish but I really feel that basically pushing her into being your sub is the best thing for her because it gives her an emotional anchor that allows her to properly develop beyond "I fuck sluts" and "I'm not a bitch, I'm the bitch" behavior she has as a dom. Basically I think being sheltered like Steele does lets her emotionally unload in a way that she couldn't before and that helps her grow.

So yeah, wrecking her life feels like it does more to save it at that point.

What I took from my CoC work is that players generally angle themselves to either be almost always submissive or dominant, and when they're presented with a choice to be one or the other they resent it if there's an obviously correct choice to take, e.g. one of the routes has way more content than the other, being dominant means being a total douchebag, being submissive results in an immediate bad end etc.

So what I've always aimed to do with Sera's content was for there to be a reasonably equal amount of content on both sides, and at least some sort of justification and development involved in both. I'm very glad that you and others were pleased at how sub Sera worked out.

*That said*, if we're going to be hard about it, it must be said the justification for Steele acting like a total arsehole towards her only sort of pays off towards the end (and only if you choose not to crush her hopes, dreams). "Oh yeah, the reason why I debt-enslaved you and abused you was because I knew eventually it would make you a better person, honest!" It was always me doing the best I could with a commission that basically read "Have the PC enslave Sera and lop her dick off".

So whilst I'm pleased with how it eventually worked out, my personal preference has always been for her dom path, as much as that one doesn't result in humble pie for her.

Aww, I really want to try out Sub Sera but I also don't want to be a dick to her by taking away her business.

You don't have to. You can give her a small loan of 5G and she'll gradualy build up a store with a rotating inventory of transformatives. Or oyou can be a dick your choice.

I'm actually having a problem with the impregnating thing...

I choose the option and had the conversation with her but the game don't give the proper choice in the "Sex" dialogues...or Sera can make a baby with her butt.

Any input? She's a merchant now btw.

NEVERMIND

Reading the thread gave me the hints i needed...

Yeah, "education through sexual slavery" is a ridiculous porn concept. Even here. But here it's a ridiculous porn concept that is incredibly well pulled off, credit to you.
So, thanks for allowing me to have a demon servant while keeping my in-game conscience relatively clean.

You were conceived to be the chosen heir of a megacorp. I think the chances of being able to turn out as a morally just person were exactly zero from the very start.

Lets not forget that two of your potential companions (Reaha and Yammi) are slaves whose contracts you buy, pretty much for your own reasons. You have the choice to turn in the sexbot (Bess/Ben) for a reward or mess with them for your own personal kinks. You can also potentially uplift an animal to have degree of sentience and to have a new hole to plug. And lets not forget the first member of your crew serves as a gooey vacuum cleaner. That's not even getting into the other people you meet along the way.

Lets be honest, Steele isn't the hero of the story.

So sometimes Steele is going to do things that feel a bit skeevy, but at the end of the day, its another step on the ladder to the top.

The worst part of the stuff you mentioned is "doesn't set Yammi and Reaha free". The rest?
For all you know, Bess/Ben is scrap when you find them. You have no idea that they even work, much less that they're a proper sentient A. I. when you sell them.
The Pexiga is essentially catatonic as part of its life circle before you halfway uplift it. Sure, it's mad science, but it's not bad mad science.
And Chelise - what's wrong with her being a vacuum cleaner? Someone has to clean, and she's good at it.

Really, the only questionable part in your list is that you participate in we're-not-calling-it-slave-trade for any reasons other than freeing whoever you buy. Which, in comparison and if looked at realistically, is so dark that none of the other points even matter.
(If looked at through porn googles, it falls into the "but they're better of now that you're their master, and they like you anyway" area.)

Actually, with Yammi you're straight up gifting her the credits to enable her to buy out her contract. She offers to join up with you since Steele is hopping all over the galaxy. Steele is the hero of TiTS... for a given value of hero. I'm thinking Greek hero in particular...

Back to the star of the topic, I do like both of Sera's paths. Still got 90 days to go until my smuggler gives birth, and I'm learning some new idioms from across the pond. Pramface. Ha!

Any chance of reactivating the sterilix doses on sub Sera's collar? I figure one kid is enough for her... and I don't want to chicken out and kick her to the foot of the bed or snuggle with Reaha... as epic as her boobs are. If I do that, Sera will have won. >:[

What are good items to sell to her so I can buy out her contract?

The galomax pills that Zo'dee gives you in her encounters pushes her right over. :3

Steele is definitely the protagonist but in a game where you can rape things I don't think calling Steele a hero is right. Sure, you can be a hero, but honestly Steele is Chaotic Good at best and even then it's just barely. The main character isn't doing anything in the story for the betterment of anyone save for themselves and the whole narrative is built around that. Now can Steele be played morally upright? Sure, but even then there are some obvious dialog bits that will crop up that show that Steele isn't some shining paragon of virtue. Especially when sex is involved.

Now, don't get me wrong, I have no problem with playing a less than perfect person and honestly my Steele(s) is(are) definitely in the morally grey area more than anything, but I felt it worth pointing out that we're definitely playing the start of the story, but we're not really a "good guy". We're not baby-eating Hitler fornicators either (unless you REALLY want to be), but we definitely can't claim to be pure and upright morally.

That aside, I feel were the dom-Sera content falls short is you can't offer to take her with you. You'd think being able to work across the new region of space would make any trader (or in the case of Sera's official class: Smuggler) excited for the new products they can gain monopolies on for selling back to the core worlds (and vice versa), or that she might feel limited and stifled on the station being someone who clearly deals in black market goods and wants more freedom, but the option isn't there and that's the big thing that puts Sub-Sera over Dom-Sera in my book. I mean the cuddling scenes are like half the reason to Sub her and without Dommy Sera Cuddles I don't see that as exciting or as emotionally engaging.

Basically my Steele doesn't do long distance relationships like that. Fuck buddies, sure, but no getting romantically entangled with someone you can't sleep while holding everyday.

Let's save the "is Steele the good guy?" stuff for another thread, people. Back on topic!

Definitely agree with this. I have two main characters, one sub and one dom and I would love to have DomSera with me on the ship. Although I can kind of understand her not joining in a kind of "You must report back to me no matter where you are" type of attitude. Too bad DomSera doesn't have any punishment scenes tied to a failure to report, or that not succeeding enough at the party event will lock the player out of ever getting the collar from DomSera in the first place. It would also be nice if they were more punishment scenes in general, as outside of having a tailcock, I can't think of any that are repeatable.

In any case, both Seras are pretty great and I always look forward to any new additions to them.

The collar is cool, although I wish Sera could know if you haven't been using it enough.

If you can't stand the pregnancy length, just use the "88mph" cheat Upcast Drake added in.
88mph cheat? Is that the, "if you are pregnant, go to the nursery room" one, or is there one to speed up the pregnancies of those you impregnate?

She does comment on it if you don't use it enough - she's supposed to anyway - she just doesn't do anything about it. Slightly leery of making PCs constantly repeat sex scenes just to avoid punishment, even if it is sexy punishment.

Nah, man. Just type in "88mph" to bring up an interface that will let you skip massive amounts of time instantly! It was added to circumvent long pregnancy times.

It doesn't always happen, but when I go to collect salary and Sera is feeling randy, she does comment about it. I usually get something along the lines of, "No masturbating, but plenty of deep throating. Saving yourself for the real thing, but still getting practice in, I like that a lot slut!"

Gives me a warm feeling in my booty.

how do I know when she's been successfully impregnated?

Go to Codex>Stats>Encounters>Tavros. Then scroll down to the Dark Chrysalis. If Sera is preggers, there will be a counter there stating how many days into her pregnancy she is. If she's been pregnant for more then 30 days, her belly will have a curve in her appearance description.

Btw this system is way too much for a simple information, this kind of thing should just be under "Appearance".
