yeah, that's been noted in the past, I will actually in the future patch up that part to give a neutral option, although for now is not priority this definitely will come soon, probably in a couple of months (or considering todays date, probably in less than that)I don't care for the dominate/submissive divide with the head-maid, what if i wanted her to just be a normal person instead of super-boss bitch or timid useless girl?
It's alive! O_O
Sorry, I was fearing you had abondened the project. ^^
Looking forward to test the new version out once I have time. =)
Yay its back!
Thanks for trying the game! Yeah, I need to apologize, saving and loading have been a big mess for me, I am not a great experienced coder and I think this has been the bigger issue I had so far with the game.Save slots are conflicting with the previous version; can't even be overwritten, rendering them unusable.
Pleased that you seem to be re-writing the story, because the story had clear issues last time. I do kind of want to nitpick a few things about how the economy is represented here, but nothing that can't be handwaved for a porn game.
Still noticing quite a few spelling mistakes, however. Nothing illegible, but still present here and there.
On the positive side, it would seem that data isn't leaking between saves loaded in the same session anymore, so that's a job well done.
On the economic aspects, I'm really failing to see where a lot of the wealth in the city is coming from. There are monsters roaming around the countryside, and with security being stretched even within the city walls, it's hard to imagine that there is a lot of resource extraction being done on the island. There is a mine mentioned in Alba's quest, but that only highlights the points already made.
What kind of mine is it anyway- does it provide anything immediately useful for the city? And what of other raw materials other than the minerals coming from the mine? In particular, food? It's not even clear how much arable land there is on the island, but the refugees of farmers don't paint a very bright prospect for agriculture there. There still is the possibility of importing foodstuffs from trade- assumedly the city has a harbour- but what is the city trading in return? Are the sea routes even open or is the city simply burning through its stockpiles to feed itself? At the very least, there seems to be a shortage of some kind; Abbadon clearly mentions 'no food', and for the last few years, at that.
Is the city even capable of producing goods to trade for supplies? Well, logically, with the city being in a semi-state of siege due to the dangers afoot in the countryside, it's hard to think that the most of the craftsmen and service workers being able to continue their trades as normal. They simply don't have the materials to work with and/or a drastically reduced market to sell to. The mass of cheap labour that is being underutilised in the forms of the refugees, or all the abandoned/poorly maintained buildings mentioned in the text all do not bode well for the local economy.
But at the same time, we clearly have Abbadon talking of investing in things like the Arts or Blood Sports, both tertiary industries, or Alba talking of focusing production on luxury goods for the nobles... which leads me to wonder, where the hell are those nobles getting their money from? Is the city not really in as bad of a state as I'm thinking? Where are any of the money and goods coming from, really?
I'd think I'd have to see more to really have an opinion on anything though. It's still too early to be to be judging anything, but that was kind of the early impression I got from things.
during the plague in europe money kept having value, it would be truth if absolutely everything collapsed, but I am mirroring other similar catastrophes like the black death, which inflated price but didnt destroyed nor the economy nor the usage of coin.Money becomes worthless when an economy collapses. At that point food, clothing, and other essentials become far more valuable. It gives the sense that it's not quite there yet but inflation would still be running out of control.
Yes, but as mentioned most of the food comes from the port and fishing, and beasts are used as lifestock to produce milk and other products dairy products, so those are in big supply. With your plague the big issue is that it seems to heavily imply that the town gets not only cut off from the rest of the island thanks to the monster-infested forest but that the farmland is also largely abandoned which implies a hefty food crisis. In the case of a famine with no way to import money would be almost worthless and the first priority would be to open trade routes.
At some point it'd probably be a good idea to have some screen or another detail the state of the city so that the player doesn't get the sense that they're fiddling while Rome is burning in the opening quests.

Uh, I think I found a couple bugs/problems ^^'
One of them being this.:
There's a bunch of 'Dialogue' breaks in the text, gonna guess coding error, but I figure I bring it up now, even if it is sorta 'last minute' for the month. Not sure if ya caught this yet.
Also a few more minor ones.
- During character creation, when I choose the 'curvy' body type, it has the description for the 'chubby' body type instead. This goes not only for the character creation section, but for the appearance description in the actual game as well. Despite saying I'm 'curvy' there in the appearance, it describes me with an 'apple bodyshape, with a big waist, big hips, and ample ass', which I'm pretty sure is for the chubby-bodied PCs. (I even tested it with a chubby PC and those with that sort of body do indeed have the same body type as 'curvy' is in atm.)
Wouldn't 'pear shaped' with a narrow waist, large hips and large ass or something like that work better for curvy? Or is it just a coding error? Either way, idk how to change it ingame so I figured I report this as a bug.
EDIT: Actually, now that I tested it some more, you're always referred with an 'apple body shape', even if you play as average build, and while I haven't tested slim yet I'm guessing it's the same. I don't even know if that is intentional or not, but I doubt it, because I don't think of apple shaped bodies as 'slim', or even very 'curvy'.
- I'm not entirely sure how the enabling/disabling content thing works ingame. But I have 'futa' unchecked in the fetish list and disabled in the main menu (Because this is one of the few games I know and actually actively play around here that actually lets me disable seeing that sort of stuff), and yet I'm encountering many chicks-with-dicks when I explore the forest. I'm pretty sure having 'futanari' unchecked should mean I shouldn't be encountering them at all.
- Equipping items and using TFs don't show up ingame on the appearance screen unless you manually close it out and reload your game and save. Not the worst bug, but it could be quite tedious in the long run.
If I encounter any more I will report them here. Otherwise I like the game so far, aesthetically it came a long way compared to when I first played it. Haven't gotten far in the whole 'ruling/corrupting(Maybe) my own kingdom' thing though as I haven't played it much until now, so I can't say much about the story yet. But it's an interesting one (Loving Abbadon already and I haven't even went through all of his content that is in so far), I'll keep my eye on this.
Thanks for the report! Yeah tested it and indeed it doesnt refresh your gender, but it still gets changed at the end, gonna fix that nonetheless, and the dialogue stuff when the editing of the texts are done.In the character creator, giving yourself male genitalia (only) and a masculine (or very masculine) physique still had you listed as a trap, for some reason. It did seem to resolve itself after the character was finished being created, though.
I'll second having seen the <dialogue> breaks; for me it was the minotaur event that had it happening.
haha she will, for all female characters theres gonna be a futa transformation, for all male i want either sissyfication or MtF transformationLooks good, but I'd rather have Alba grow a dick
