I don't care for the dominate/submissive divide with the head-maid, what if i wanted her to just be a normal person instead of super-boss bitch or timid useless girl?

yeah, that's been noted in the past, I will actually in the future patch up that part to give a neutral option, although for now is not priority this definitely will come soon, probably in a couple of months (or considering todays date, probably in less than that)

New public build 0.2 available now here!

8Tj4OsN.jpg

Greetings! Here it is the new build from our game. After months of hard work, we have polished the fundamentals of our game: UI, Combat, the creation of NPCs, and a more meaningful story where your choices matter!

The overall story is as follow: You’ve inherited the lordship of a small kingdom, now you’ll face the challenge to earn the trust of your new subjects with your leadership, or submit them into obedience with your iron fist. Take charge of your subjects, create new laws, enslave monsters and imprison your enemies.

This new build also has a lot of new art done by cutesexyrobutts and otonaru!

You can support us at www.patreon.com/duodevelopers, all the money goes back into the game in the form of art and soon enough editing too!

Current features:

  • Over 30k of text within 3 characters: Your maid Helena and two nobles, the stiff Abbadon and the lewd Alba.

  • Multiple choices for your story and your character!

  • Transformation implemented for your character.

  • Combat, although is still basic, it's a good basis to improve from this point.

  • All the UI, save, load, inventory system, and everything else already in place.

We want to expand upon these features, and add the next ones too!
  • CG and more sexy art, not just sprites!

  • Management for your slaves

  • More shops and better customization

  • More content inside combat, like texts, being able to fuck your adversaries, or be fucked!

  • Pregnancy and marriage!

  • and of course more story and enemies!

Hope you guys check it out and give us feedback to keep improving our game!

You can check this album for more screenshots and art!

Yay its back!

Hahaha not at all, now I have a tumblr were I also post updates beyond my patreon here https://maratdev.tumblr.com/, I update my patreon p. often and I check this new tumblr everyday tho I dont really post dev updates as often as I should (which I think should be daily), is just I stoped visiting forums and places until all the basics of my game were polished, I felt like comming here with a broken mess was not deserving, now that I feel everything is in place, and I am building better upon it, I thought it was time to visit these places again :D

Save slots are conflicting with the previous version; can't even be overwritten, rendering them unusable.

Pleased that you seem to be re-writing the story, because the story had clear issues last time. I do kind of want to nitpick a few things about how the economy is represented here, but nothing that can't be handwaved for a porn game.

Still noticing quite a few spelling mistakes, however. Nothing illegible, but still present here and there.

Thanks for trying the game! Yeah, I need to apologize, saving and loading have been a big mess for me, I am not a great experienced coder and I think this has been the bigger issue I had so far with the game.

They need to be deleted manually, I apologize for that, you can find them in
user/appdata/locallow/duodevelopers

Yeah the old one was more or less a draft, but it was too fast, and didnt had a good build up, hope to change that now. Whats with the economy? haha but yeah, not an expert on that regard, is probably kinda silly. I am getting an editor to polish everything from this build for next releases :D

On the positive side, it would seem that data isn't leaking between saves loaded in the same session anymore, so that's a job well done.

On the economic aspects, I'm really failing to see where a lot of the wealth in the city is coming from. There are monsters roaming around the countryside, and with security being stretched even within the city walls, it's hard to imagine that there is a lot of resource extraction being done on the island. There is a mine mentioned in Alba's quest, but that only highlights the points already made.

What kind of mine is it anyway- does it provide anything immediately useful for the city? And what of other raw materials other than the minerals coming from the mine? In particular, food? It's not even clear how much arable land there is on the island, but the refugees of farmers don't paint a very bright prospect for agriculture there. There still is the possibility of importing foodstuffs from trade- assumedly the city has a harbour- but what is the city trading in return? Are the sea routes even open or is the city simply burning through its stockpiles to feed itself? At the very least, there seems to be a shortage of some kind; Abbadon clearly mentions 'no food', and for the last few years, at that.

Is the city even capable of producing goods to trade for supplies? Well, logically, with the city being in a semi-state of siege due to the dangers afoot in the countryside, it's hard to think that the most of the craftsmen and service workers being able to continue their trades as normal. They simply don't have the materials to work with and/or a drastically reduced market to sell to. The mass of cheap labour that is being underutilised in the forms of the refugees, or all the abandoned/poorly maintained buildings mentioned in the text all do not bode well for the local economy.

But at the same time, we clearly have Abbadon talking of investing in things like the Arts or Blood Sports, both tertiary industries, or Alba talking of focusing production on luxury goods for the nobles... which leads me to wonder, where the hell are those nobles getting their money from? Is the city not really in as bad of a state as I'm thinking? Where are any of the money and goods coming from, really?

I'd think I'd have to see more to really have an opinion on anything though. It's still too early to be to be judging anything, but that was kind of the early impression I got from things.

The economy is almost non existance imo, but using beasts as slaves (and having an abudant supply of those) helps to those at the top that exploits them, either using them as resources themselves (like shearing, their cum and fluids for potions, etc.) or just as cheap labor. The city has a port, which is used as a main source of food, although this isnt mentioned much yet.

Also there is some commerce, but limited to probably a couple of brave caravans that dare to do so. Since most of the city transformed into beasts and either kicked out of it or enslaved, that also means there are a lot of belongings left behind that were either recycled or reused, and less population to mantain.

Also should be said you are not the only kingdom in the island, but yours is the poorest of all at this stage.

The mine I was thinking to just be ores, mostly iron, which is relevant to ressuply the army, households and repairs. There is some farmable land directly outside the city walls, this helps to complement some of the fishing, but people lives with scarcity, and there is a lot of farmable land around the city, the problem are the beasts.

Yes, Abbadon does care about entertainment because that's his business, but its also an important tool to distract the population, part of panem et circenses policy, that helps to appease the people. Should be said that this is also a easier thing to implement for yourself, which has a direct impact on the mood and the perception of the rest to you, and since you want to earn the favor of the population, it is a smart move to start with something cheap yet efficient.

Rich people is still rich people, the reason is the same: A lot (including other rich) lost their stuff and someone else took it, and it wasnt the masses, and controlling all the production of the city, even if it doesnt looks like much, is probably more than enough to keep you at the top and enjoying a far better life than the rest.

I dont think there is much new wealth, but if you had 100k gold coins (to say a random number) in circulation, you still have 100k in circulation even if there is no new wealth produced. And is not like that money is going out of town either, just changing hands.

Money becomes worthless when an economy collapses. At that point food, clothing, and other essentials become far more valuable. It gives the sense that it's not quite there yet but inflation would still be running out of control.

during the plague in europe money kept having value, it would be truth if absolutely everything collapsed, but I am mirroring other similar catastrophes like the black death, which inflated price but didnt destroyed nor the economy nor the usage of coin.

Again although things were harsh, the reduction of overpopulation helped at the same time.

With your plague the big issue is that it seems to heavily imply that the town gets not only cut off from the rest of the island thanks to the monster-infested forest but that the farmland is also largely abandoned which implies a hefty food crisis. In the case of a famine with no way to import money would be almost worthless and the first priority would be to open trade routes.

At some point it'd probably be a good idea to have some screen or another detail the state of the city so that the player doesn't get the sense that they're fiddling while Rome is burning in the opening quests.

Yes, but as mentioned most of the food comes from the port and fishing, and beasts are used as lifestock to produce milk and other products dairy products, so those are in big supply.

Again although traveling is hard, is not an actual military siege, and the population has been reduced significantly, so even if the available lands are reduced, and scarcity is a fact, its not a point where money is worthless, as it wasnt irl either.

Funny fact, if Civilization were to collapse today, paper, plastic and electronic forms of money would go the way of the dinosaurs. Old forms of money were usually precious metals and gems, before that you had commodities like salt used as a form of currency. Even before that the most basic form of economy is the barter system were you trade goods for other goods or services for goods.

So in other news, We just got some wonderful art done by nitesart, I am also wondering what is your favorite type of transformation? I want to add some transformation with art for the next update, right now there is a poll in our patreon to pick which follower, and after there will be one to decide which types of transformations it should get. I also commissioned already an editor to fix all my current mess for the next update! So a lot of great news :D

But yes, leave some comments about what transformation you like!

Uh, I think I found a couple bugs/problems ^^'
One of them being this.:
DiCK Bug.png
There's a bunch of 'Dialogue' breaks in the text, gonna guess coding error, but I figure I bring it up now, even if it is sorta 'last minute' for the month. Not sure if ya caught this yet.

Also a few more minor ones.
- During character creation, when I choose the 'curvy' body type, it has the description for the 'chubby' body type instead. This goes not only for the character creation section, but for the appearance description in the actual game as well. Despite saying I'm 'curvy' there in the appearance, it describes me with an 'apple bodyshape, with a big waist, big hips, and ample ass', which I'm pretty sure is for the chubby-bodied PCs. (I even tested it with a chubby PC and those with that sort of body do indeed have the same body type as 'curvy' is in atm.)
Wouldn't 'pear shaped' with a narrow waist, large hips and large ass or something like that work better for curvy? Or is it just a coding error? Either way, idk how to change it ingame so I figured I report this as a bug.
EDIT: Actually, now that I tested it some more, you're always referred with an 'apple body shape', even if you play as average build, and while I haven't tested slim yet I'm guessing it's the same. I don't even know if that is intentional or not, but I doubt it, because I don't think of apple shaped bodies as 'slim', or even very 'curvy'.

- I'm not entirely sure how the enabling/disabling content thing works ingame. But I have 'futa' unchecked in the fetish list and disabled in the main menu (Because this is one of the few games I know and actually actively play around here that actually lets me disable seeing that sort of stuff), and yet I'm encountering many chicks-with-dicks when I explore the forest. I'm pretty sure having 'futanari' unchecked should mean I shouldn't be encountering them at all.

- Equipping items and using TFs don't show up ingame on the appearance screen unless you manually close it out and reload your game and save. Not the worst bug, but it could be quite tedious in the long run.

If I encounter any more I will report them here. Otherwise I like the game so far, aesthetically it came a long way compared to when I first played it. Haven't gotten far in the whole 'ruling/corrupting(Maybe) my own kingdom' thing though as I haven't played it much until now, so I can't say much about the story yet. But it's an interesting one (Loving Abbadon already and I haven't even went through all of his content that is in so far), I'll keep my eye on this.

Thanks for playing and bringing this info! I think I already fixed some of this stuff for the next build, bot not all. Yes I think I may not be handling well the body shapes, I need to check that again, and it may be just me doing some of the uh comparissons wrong, or a bug.

About the disabling futa, I will add that information in the game too but for now it just applies to all the main characters, that's it those with portraits and story. I will add something so most generic NPCs, specially for combat, dont appear as futa if futa is dissabled tho, will add that for the next build.

the last thing is not really related to loading or saving, is just the screen doesnt refresh at that moment. You can change scene or hit "go base" to refresh it. This is already fixed for a quick update I will upload soon (it will have these few corrections and most of the text of the game edited on it, so dont expect much content for it)

In the character creator, giving yourself male genitalia (only) and a masculine (or very masculine) physique still had you listed as a trap, for some reason. It did seem to resolve itself after the character was finished being created, though.

I'll second having seen the <dialogue> breaks; for me it was the minotaur event that had it happening.

Thanks for the report! Yeah tested it and indeed it doesnt refresh your gender, but it still gets changed at the end, gonna fix that nonetheless, and the dialogue stuff when the editing of the texts are done.

In other news, the artist did some work to show a good example of transformation, should be said that you dont need to go with extreme proportions, smaller ones will be available, but I just wanted to show how far it could go

So I just released an edited version of the game. Its the same, just the grammar is fixed I hope for the most part, since I hired someone to do it. You can check it out here:
MEGA

Also, what you guys about these transformations? I'll add feminization as an option for all male characters in the main story, and futa for all girls, what you guys think of the art so far?

I wouldn't mind if there was a masculinization... is that a word? Well, you get the gist, I hope. Anyway, are there any plans for that sort of thing?

Hello, I believe that I have a problem. I just started to play and I have a problem with the background, it's just completely white and I don't think that's normal. I took a screen so I can show about it.
