I don't know if it's Romantic route shenanigans or what not, and I get it's somewhat excusable with how demons are, but I'm still somewhat disappointed that they didn't make it more subtle.
If there's one thing I've learned, Savin makes kas as subtle as a oil tanker through a fishing shack.

My mostly baseless theory is that the Blood Knight was the/an original Champion of Velun and that Kas took her place. Getting information on-request from a new lackey would explain how Kas would have enough knowledge to kinda pass as the Champion of Velun, but not enough of a knowledge base to prevent slip ups.
While there are indeed no clear indications of this being the case, it's a really good hypothesis. It fits very well with everything and solves some of the worst problems with the "Calise is Kas" theory.

Might be a bug for me, but I'm getting softlocked by Faceless Blade, she's invulnerable to damage and lust. She regenerates health way faster than I can deal it.

While not having a weakness, her lowest resistance is Mental damage. Corrupted Libido makes tease damage a poor choice unless you went full tease build. She also has Blade Block, which nullifies melee attacks for three turns with a recharge of 8, giving you five turns in between blocks.

If you yourself can't deal with the Faceless, try healing Calise and purging her starting status effects. If you can keep her up during the fight she should be able to handle things pretty well.

I was obvious to me that Kas is Calise from the moment the moment I first saw her because of the option to ask Kas about her human form/past. I even left a comment about figuring out Kas's secret identity on the post were Calise Quest 1 was added, It's even more obvious once Freja ages into a toddler and it says she must've gotten her tan skin tone from Kas's human form.

Well drat. Honestly, Calise was one of my favorite romance options. I've always wanted to save Kas but I've never wanted to romance her. Finding out Calise is Kas is just... disappointing.

That's sort of the point. I don't expect most players to want to romance Kas as the big demon queen.

Calise is your look into who Kas used to be, and maybe could be again, if you believe in Redemption. If you like Calise, maybe that's some motivation to save her from herself. To get her back from Queen Kas. (Or, in cases of players who aren't you, maybe motivate them to reconsider Big Demon Queen Mommy.)

I want to ask, will Calise be a way to get Kas redemption/romance path even if you are hostile until Winter City?
Or does that stay locked, at least for now?

Yes. It's the intended onboarding point for it.
Assuming based on previous conversations that Calise option also goes away if your character is found out to be soulbound regardless of getting the quest?

Honestly with all your clear favouritism for the antagonist's redemption Savin are you going to be able to handle writing the paths where players fight and kill her anyway.
It seems a natural result could be undervaluing that scenario and instead trying too hard to make the player feel bad for such a 'tragic' outcome, almost like how Tobs has ended up writing whenever he's upset with player choice and uses in-game characters to beat the reader about the head as his mouthpieces.

What kind of question is that? How was Savin even supposed to answer?

I get that you don't like Kasyrra as a character but you clearly haven't been paying attention to how other characters react to/opine on her.

Yeah yeah, I was tired and didn't notice until after I posted and at that point there wasn't really an undo button. Comes from posting when half asleep and vaguely disappointed.
