Interesting. Thank you for the info. Is Snuffles currently the only pet in the game? If not, do other pets do different things?
There are a few pets in the game. There is a Snail that sometimes appears in the river region of Garnet Weald, it can be recruited by giving him a Cabbage, he will aslo insist on you throwing out any Salt that you may have on you at the time. The Snail is more tanky and has an ability to sometimes shed expensive gems after getting hurt in battle. It can also Poison enemies and comes with a pretty good unique accessory item which can be re-equiped to the player instead.
There is also a Blue Slime Minion which you can rarely get as drop from Blue Slimes when you defeat them. Blue Slimes can also give you one of their minions as a pet (rarely) if they really liked having sex with you after defeating you. This pet has some limited magic abilities and can Paralyse enemies. It also comes with it's own unique accessory!
A third pet is a Snowman, but he was available only during the Winter event. You had to build a Snowman with some of the Goblin kids and then go on a quest to forge his heart with the Alchemy Skill. The snowman came with unique Scarf and an Accessory too. The Snowman was significantly stronger than all the other pets in battle and could even heal you with one of it's skills.
Anyway, I enjoy the game. The clock goes by faster than I'd expect and some of the scenes (particularly the ones with the goblins around town) can be kind of repetitive. I did enjoy the variety for scenes in the Brothel a fair bit, although that eventually got pretty repetitive too when you basically have to grind it
I was contemplating expanding the scene selection in the Goblin Village, but it might come much later as the current focus has been on adding more races and scenes for them.
(which raises a question I have: Why is the goblin dildo so darn expensive?) to the point where it loses its novelty. I wound up using the money cheat and it fixed that problem though. The scenes themselves were very enjoyable though; well written and even though it's usually just one image for all manners of actions, the art is well done.
To be honest I have no idea why I set the price so high, it was so long ago when I made it that I didn't even realise how expensive it was now. I dropped its price down by 4 times to 10 Silver for the next update, so thank you for bringing that up!
I'm not really sure if there are other towns to explore; I only managed to encounter the Demon Queen, goblins, and werewolf.
There are currently no new towns yet, but there are also Blue Slimes and Werebats which you missed. Blue Slimes appear on all the maps outside the village but only during rain. Werebats appear at night in Amber Wilds. If you just want to see the Blue Slime scene, I suggest un-equiping your armour, weapons and accessories as they can melt a piece of your equipped gear in the sex scene.
At the moment I am working on the next romanceable Heroine, so while she wont really have a village she lives in, she will have multiple sex scenes with new CGs!
The biggest impediment that would keep me from playing more is just the enormous grind. To put this into perspective, I bought a bunch of Black Magic 101 and Charisma 101 manuals after spamgrinding the cheat system for money to try to max the two stats out and *that* was a long grind.
The current exp system wasn't designed to get your skills above level 2. The content which gives higher exp for higher levels doesn't exist yet. You are basically exploring the starter zones, so in your case you got your skills up to the end game level at the start of the game. Most skills don't even offer any benefits above level 2. In fact Black Magic has no combat skills at all above level 2, increasing Sorcery does passively boost your spell damage though.
I would also suggest collecting the items laying around on the floor of the forest, especially around rivers in the last two maps as gems and truffles sell for quite a lot and require no VP or WP to collect from the ground.
I didn't really notice much of a difference in things for Charisma because I was already a Bard, so I basically won every charisma check already anyway.
The Bard class is pretty min/max in that regard, maybe more so than I intended as its combat stats are pretty lack luster as a result.
For Black Magic though, I was excited to see how that would fair in battle. It was nice being able to one shot those Super Saiyan hornets for a change, but even with all of the best magic in the game, I didn't stand a chance against the werewolf. I had the luckiest go at her and still got demolished. First turn, she missed attacking Snuffles. Second turn, she one-shotted Snuffles. Third turn, she went to tackle me, but missed. Fourth turn, she did that OP Fury attack and brought me down to a sliver of health. You would think in five turns with all of the best magic in the game, I could have taken her out. Nope.
The problem likely was that you didn't have a very high Intelligence stats as Spell damage scales of your Int score and the Sorcery spec. While spells have a base damage that they do by default, most of the brunt of the damage comes from the Stat value and the Sorcery value. You probably weren't wearing any Armour either as Werewolves tend to only do 1-5 damage with their attacks if you have Armour with 3+ Toughness equipped. In order to challenge a Werewolf with no Armour at all you would need 4+ in your Int score or 4+ in Str if using martial skills. A Mage class starts with a score of 5 in Int and a Fighter class starts with 5 in Str for comparison. An increase in 1 for any stat usually carries a significant boost in combat. Furthermore if you are not wearing ANY armour at all, then you take 30% more damage from claw and blade attacks by default. There are of course, ways to deal with Werewolves with no combat skills at all, but it requires various consumables.
You can boost your base combat stats like Int and Str through some of the Accessories in the game, as you have 4 slots for them, you can stack 4 of the same type for a +4 bonus to a stat (like Garnet or Aquamarine Pendants). Your Tougness (physical damage reduction) can be increased by most Armours, though some Armours are more hybrid and offer Resilience (Magic Resistance instead).
That said, major kudos to you for all of the work you're putting into this and how well you're handling the criticisms.
Thank you!
