canDance? no idea whats that, but ima go minstrel for the lulz then, thanksminstrel makes you succeed on canDance checks, so it's my go-to
I mean the backgrounds like minstrel, barbarian or noble scionI'd try Thief or Mage next; they usually get a decent number of extra dialogue and skill checks. Hope the new run treats you better than the lost saves did!
So much knowledge lost in the aftermath of the Godswar...Scholar, be a nerd, know stuff other people might not be aware(despite this we don't know what frickin sodium is, how?!).
Narvera gatekeeping knowledge doesn’t help etherSo much knowledge lost in the aftermath of the Godswar...
Based on the times when the Scholar background gives you some insight on a topic and the times when it notably doesn't, it seems that the Champion's formal education mostly focused on history, politics, and basic magical theory.
Speaking of, is there like a master list of where which Backgrounds come into play? I'd looooove to try some of them, but a lot don't seem to make mention at all. One that comes to mind is the Slum Rat being able to do pretty much everything in the Mage Ship's Captain Quarters without causing a Strike.--.Noble Scion is my go-to.
What can I say, Dragon Age Origins spoiled me.
I'd love for your background to come up more often in this game, but it's still present here and there, and that's nice.
I just open the .json files with a text editor, look for the background flag and read the scene variation.Speaking of, is there like a master list of where which Backgrounds come into play?
