Sadly, it the dim light, Aldary could not spot any one particular goblin that seemed to be in charge. The group surged forward with a simple mob mentality, and they were once again upon her with clubs and ropes, attempting to bring her down under sheer weight of numbers. [Take 3 damage.]

Aldary moved once more trying to not get overwhelmed while hacking at the goblins

[Whenever you roll above a six you hit, so go ahead and roll damaged as well.]

Another goblin fell to her blade, but at the cost of a few more strikes and scrapes. If she could keep this pace, they might break before long. That is, if she didn't fall first. [Take 3 more damage. How are you doing on HP?]

Aldary broke and fled, the goblins shouting curses as they gave chase. She sprinted through the tall grass and sparse trees in near total darkness, before finally skidding to a stop under a fallen log. The sound of small feet stomping over the makeshift shelter told her that her pursuers had not seen her dive for cover. She lay there for the better part of an hour before daring to move, and when she did she realized that her clothing was in tatters. The goblins had shredded her shirt in there efforts to capture her, and she had not had time to put her boots on before the battle. She stood now, out in that cold field in not but her short skirt.

Aldary decided to quietly move toward her camp not knowing if she could scavenge something there.

Sadly, the goblins had thoroughly ransacked her camp, after giving up the chase. All of her food, and equipment was gone. The only thing left was the shredded remains of her tent.
Still, not all hope was lost. In their haste to loot, the little monsters had made no effort to cover their tracks, and Aldary was easily able to pick up their trail.

Discreetly she followed them, at least she maybe could steal her stuff back.

Doing her best to remain quiet, Aldary managed to follow the tracks to the burnt out remains of an old farmstead. Though the buildings had fallen to rubble long ago, she spotted two of the little wretches standing guard outside the doors to a root cellar.

Aldary made sure she was well hidden and observed the area trying to see if more were around. {Will?}

[No need.]

It was obvious that this was the hideout of the goblins. On more than one occasion, the doors opened and one or two goblins emerged to relieve themselves before heading back inside.

Sadly, the root cellar was without windows. But she found that she could get surprisingly close to the guards without them noticing.

Aldary tried to imitate an animal to bait the goblins toward her while she was still hidden.

A mimicry was probably unnecessary, given goblin's propensity for raid and pillage, but still the two guards came hurrying over with spears at the ready.

Aldar waited for them to get close before jumping out of her hiding place sword in hand ready to strike the first one.

With them being unaware of her presence, Aldary was able to take the first goblin by surprise; skewering him through the chest. The second one screamed as his fellow fell.

[When you get the drop on an enemy, you don't have to roll to hit, you can just roll damage. The second goblin needs a Hack and Slash roll, though.]

The fight was over before it even began, and the goblins lay dead. Two more down, gods knew how many more. As she looked the corpses over, she noticed something tied to one of the goblin's belts; a small glass bottle filled with a light blue liquid. A healing potion!

Seeing herself badly wounded Aldary gulped the potion without hesitation.

As the magic liquid coursed through her, she had to wonder just who they had robbed to get their hands on one something like that. Potions, though not as rare as most enchanted items, were still expensive, and not carried around by just anybody. What other treasures might be waiting in that cellar.

[Regain 10 hit points.]

Aldary made sure to hide the bodies before moving back toward the cellar to see if the other goblins noticed something.

Aldary slowly moved closer trying to see how many goblins were there by looking through the door.

All she could see by peeking through the cellar door were the stairs that lay beneath it. But, there was light coming from the cellar beyond them, as well as the sound of many goblin voices, laughing and cheering.

Creeping down the stairs, Aldary found the source of the light. Smack in the center of the cellar was a large fire pit, over which roasted several animals on a spit. Sitting around the fire, talking and drinking, were over a dozen goblins; including a few that she thought she recognized. As she scanned the area, she spotted her pack tossed amid many others in a large pile on the far side of the room.
