Aayla nods as he executes his moves, paying closer attention to his modifications of the form. "Hmm. Good, good. You could probably match Brenna maybe even beat her." She muses.
"M-my new master?" Roc asks, stunned and blinking.
"Yes, your new master. I'm the one who is supposed to train you how to wield that very dangerous toy hanging at your belt!" The Inquisitor says, speaking as if to a four year old.
"Any particular reason?" Roc asks, annoyed that he's using that tone with him.
"Your master, our spy, obviously can't teach you anymore, so I'm the replacement. A much better one, I might add." He says, grinning.
"Er... Blowing your own horn much?" Roc says, raising an eyebrow.
"Maybe. Maybe not. Up to you to find out, isn't it?" He says, his grin now looking more creepy.
"I suppose it is..." Roc mutters. He has to stop and think for a moment. This was a huge step. Once he took this step willingly, there would be no going back.
But then again... Did he really want to...?
The answer is a no brainer.
He slowly gets to one knee and bows his head. "I am at your service... Master." He says. The Inquisitor laughs and claps.
"Good, good! A wise choice! Now rise, my apprentice. Now let me tell you something. The mere fact that you're standing on the steps of this very Temple shows your affinity for the dark side. Even the most experienced Jedi, a full slave to the light side, would feel ill upon coming near this place, but you... You're standing in front of me, and don't look ill. And I can tell you aren't feeling it either. Anyway, come along. We have things to do. And there's someone I want you to meet." He says, turning to the right and walking. Roc follows behind him as they traverse the ruins. Eventually, they come to a door that Roc wouldn't have seen had the Inquisitor not pointed it out. Cleverly concealed between the ground and the surrounding ruins, it was unnoticeable unless you knew what to look for. He walks up to it, and with a wave of his hand, opens the door, revealing blackness. He steps inside first, and Roc follows him.
"Master, I can't see-" Roc is suddenly interrupted by bright fluorescent lights turning on overhead. The Inquisitor is nowhere to be seen, and it seems he's on some sort of a platform. There is no floor before him, save for a pillars leading to the other end of the room, where there is more darkness.
"So this is the real test, huh...?" Roc mutters before jumping onto the first pillar.
Nothing happens.
Then he jumps to the second. Nothing happens, and there are only five more to go.
It's when he jumps on the third one the trap is sprung.
His feet depress a pressure pad on the third pillar, and the entrance at the other end immediately slams shut. A pillar shoots up on either side of him, containing two Assassin droids, which immediately aim their weapons at him!
