I don't know which locks you out of more, but Taur definitely has more things written specifically for it. You can do some tests with Hardlight Naga Suit and Hardlight Taur Suit fairly quickly.

You can turn them back on with the Cheat Menu. Though perhaps the prophylactic should also be toggled.

I'm not on the Discord. If it's a common problem, I'd expect somebody to bring it up there anyway (though we wouldn't see it). And like I said, there's a comment on the blog. That does sometimes get responses for a day or two. Gedan's been on and fixing bugs recently, so a bug report might be seen.

Are you sure you're on the latest? There was an unannounced hotfix. For reference, the latest Public is 0.9.119-PUBLIC#5610.
