Having companions for combat would mean enemies would have to be way stronger to compensate (Enemies need to be buffed now anyway, they're  really weak as it is now). That would pretty much screw over those who prefer to do things solo.

Yeah... Shoot First + Double Shot + Lust Weapon is kind of broken, does like 90+ Lust damage in one turn.

Currently, if you're a Tech Specialist, helping Kara is in your best interest, because the strongest energy weapon you can get right now is the Arc Caster, which you only get by beating the shit out of Shade.

It's mainly because of the Aimed Shock perk, which with maxed Int and Aim, allows you to do like 70-100 damage per hit, when you aren't getting the shoot first perk off. Honestly, I might drop Shoot First, because Aimed Shot deals more damage than it and I'm pretty sure Low Blow has a higher...
