    It does that for the same reason that Nina in BoF has her basic attack scale off her magic stat and in some instalments recovers MP just by waiting: the basic attack would be worthless otherwise.

    They don't. Only the bath and sleeping in the courtyard is free -- services that largely have a fixed cost with small additional overhead scaling with number of users. Everything else is paid for.

    We only include birth scenes when we can be reasonably sure the player will be around to have it happen in front of him/her. So, companions and a couple exceptions where it makes sense -- having people pace up and down for months waiting to see the birth scene is not something we want to encourage.

    Mostly because denying the existence of the divine, which although not directly observable for most people is still inferable through the many small daily miracles which people can witness in their lives, makes you the equivalent of a flat-earther. You can not like the gods and say they're not...

    They don't. Deities tend to have mildly different portfolios in various places -- for example, Keros has domain over agriculture over there, which he doesn't have anywhere else. You can appeal to someone else in a roundabout way, for example, asking Tira to preserve newborns to not die before...
