I find it more sad than dickish because I know it'll probably never be a thing

It's Sexy STDs essentially. I think it's supposed to be transformative diseases and such, like the one that turns into a MLP pony.

I honestly could not think of anything lower on the system-design priority list. If it weren't for the April 1st post Fen made I'd have thought he'd completely forgotten about them. There's been no real discussion about them... ever?

Was there actually any interest in SSTDs? If feels like it was one of those things thrown in because TiTS needed to be bigger and better so let's add a whole bunch of new stuff because we can!

Ah, the old 'silent majority' defense. I've never seen it applied to porn though, that's certainly new.
It was one of the major bullet points of the Offbeatr campaign, so obviously at that point Fen felt they were a key selling point. Knowing Fen, I wouldn't say "dropped" so much as "forgotten somewhere between writing Urta Mk3 and Urta Mk4". It would be nice to see them at some point, but I do agree there are much more important things that need to be concentrated on first. For instance, Urta Mk5.

I'm not saying Fen just started working on a new hyper furry futa today, but....
Fun fact: Cynthia of Dr. Lessau's crew was originally slated to be a futa in the first draft of the office gangbang. It was changed after Fen devoured the entire budget for furry futa characters for the rest of the game.
Hopefully this one isn't an asshole who's ego is as big as their dick.

Yes because there are so many more futas than females. Oh wait, there were more than twice as many females as herms at last census. And there are so many fucking furries - oh wait, there are less furries than pure humans or monster-girls. The only category they outnumber are robotic beings, and not by much. There are so many furries that my main bust artist has actually complained about not getting to draw any and sighed with relief at the chance to do Emmy.
I mean fuck, there are so many goddamn furries on myrellion, all fucking one of them.

But back to the topic, the fungus SSTD would probably be the most interesting (for me) because that'd basically be Shouldra 2.0

I'm not sure about SSTDs in general, but I'd love to see Horsepoxia implemented at some point, even as a Silly Mode exclusive. After all, horse dongs are space magic.
