The kid stuff bothers me more than preg content, because it's more pervasive. You get one buttful of spider-eggs by accident, or don't quite have the cash to pay Evergreen the traditional way for a lightsaber-dick, etc, and suddenly you're chatting about the wonders of parenthood etc. Yuck. I was excited when Tetsuya showed up, only to realize that it would never work, since my champs' natural reaction to a kid falling down would be :gedlaugh:, not helping them. Yes, I'm a bitch. Yes, I realize what a PITA it would be to try and parse things in a more complicated way than "has/doesn't have kids." It would be neat if non-consensual butt-babies or babies-as-payment didn't count, at least.

I've been going over a dozen good ways to respond to this for a week, but suffice it to say, my assumption is that the explanation for anything that doesn't make conventional sense in this game can be boiled down to either fetishes (i.e. why are all the cow girls constantly lactating even if they've never had kids? Because lactation/breastfeeding fetishes. And so on) or it makes sense from a story or character perspective, i.e. defeating Kasyrra falls to us because that's the central narrative through line and all the drama and pathos they wring from it if she's our lover doesn't work if it's some random NPC whom Kasy maybe met once, if ever.
To be honest, you would really have to turn your brain off for it to make total sense. At the power level we alongside our companions are we should be getting help from other sources, better yet people who can take care of it already. The way the story is right now, we should have a "delete" button by knowing a few of the gods personally. If the world is really in danger of corruption, shouldn't we be using all our options and taking care of it right now? I think pretty much everyone on the mainland knows about Kasyrra too. The only reason why you wouldn't is if you want her to be around, not everyone is playing to romance her specifically. Most people maybe, but not everyone, definitely not in every playthrough.

I don't know what the rest of the main story is gonna be, but there should be more reasons why we have to fight Kasyrra besides us supposedly being the main character and our soul. Right now, this story feels like its about a villain who's gonna destroy the universe but the Justice League is too busy because it's poker night.

Reminds me of watching teen titans as a kid and seeing Trigon end the world and going: Where is the justice league?

True, but they are only discussing mundane problems. I don't think Kasyrra is a mundane problem. Wouldn't that be a little insulting? They also say that the more powerful hero is currently dealing with some other problem. Last time I checked, at least Keros and Lumia just happen to be free whenever we see them, along with Leofric being a Leoprick and wandering around instead of throwing himself at the demons to possibly get the death in battle he craves.

One big consistant grip I have with CoCII is the Tone and Thickness body types. When I have a 100 thickness and 100 tone character, I am described as having a huge barrel chest and gigantic arms but my body is described as average. The changed this years ago and I still think it was a mistake. This is one of the few aspects that I think TiTs does better.

Also, I am happy to help Kalysea, but not all of my characters would consider horse dick a reward.

It's not quite a gripe but I always thought that it was a little weird that the child of the Champ and Aileh is dark skinned since sure Kasyrra is dark skinned, but Aileh is pretty pale. I love the little scamp and her art, but I noticed it one day and now can't unsee it as being odd. I'm not expecting the game to have a system to create a balance between the pc's appearance and the mother or father of any kids since that would be ridiculously more work than it's worth, but I would have thought that if a child has art it would default to the kid resembling the npc since that's relatively stable compared to the excessively wide array of what the champ can look like.

I'm a darkskined dude myself and in game so I'm cool with it. They could be going with traits that skip a generation maybe one of the grandparents have darker skin weirder things have happened in life.

I know it can happen though it's usually rare as far as I understand it. It's not a big deal hence why I wouldn't fully call it a gripe I just thought I was a little odd. That said if they were going for that I'm a little surprised it wasn't commented on when Kas first meets her since she frequently appears dark skinned when she's not in her demonic form and since we haven't seen her original form it's possible, she was born dark skinned in which case it would make more sense. I was just reminded of this since I was playing the new content with the kid and the PC exploring the winter city and thought I'd mention it since as far as I can tell no one else has.

its potentially a sign of kasyrra's original skin tone

I mean, a major part of the problem is that the critical path is still unfinished, and I wouldn't expect it to be before 2025 at the rate this game is going. Workload, scheduling, IRL stuff and the fact this is a porn game which carries expectations of smut are all conspiring to delay the path to Kasyrra's downfall.
Curiously, the name of TVTropes' article on the matter addresses a similar instance.
Haha, I love TVTropes.

I mean Zhara's daughter Mitra is also very tan for some reason. I don't see it as much more than an artistic choice.

Aileh says Kas's blood flows in her but it's just a bit of it, she probably added it when she turned the lizards into dragons.

giving someone a blood transfusion still doesn't make them blood related.

Played Tits for a bit, a and I have a gripe about Transofrmative balancing.

Savin and Co stated loud-and-clear that transformations will never have combat benefits, to prevent people feeling like they have to min-max appearances to be effective if they are playing at higher difficulties.

And I get that, so no resistances/advantages based on Racial Typesets.

Cool

I would like to be able to Use my wings to fly and hit things in the face with my Dragon Mace. It seems silly that I can't counter flight evasion with a flight-stance.

That is exactly the kind of mechanical benefit for TFing that they don't want to implement because it incentivizes meta-gaming. :p

Actually, I don't get why that's a problem. Anyone mind explaining?
Because that would mean having [specific TF here] is objectively the correct way to make your character, rather than just being part of your appearance.

It's no different than the game giving you +20 Attack Power for having red hair, or +20 Fire Resist for having a really dark tan :p

Mostly has to do with not "forcing" people to play as a certain race for gameplay advantages
this decision was adopted early on TiTS
and it was an issue on CoC1 were some races had useless abilities/perks, the same abilities that were better on other races and overall if you wanted a certain "perk/power" you were forced to play as a certain race
while you never really needed the power on CoC1 it would be annoying to balance in CoC2

I don't know man, I've been playing COC1 recently and had fun with messing around with the TFs. It honestly felt awesome being that powerful. But if COC2 goes a different route that can make it equally as enjoyable, I'm not gonna complain.

TiTS still has TF's affecting a lot of other things to be fair. Mostly sex related or more callouts in various scenes. And while things like pollen veil aren't all that hot, it does help immersion to have that reference that "Yes, you do have a flower that looks like it was stuck in your hair that's actually a part of you." There's other things like the flight, and TiTS helps that feature by giving access to a jetpack which I use because jetpacks are awesome.

I sometimes forget I even have wings and a tail in CoC2 due to how irrelevant each are. And there's significantly less fun things to 'collect' in regards to perks. Most of the TFs are so minimally referenced that the entire flavor of the race gets lost.
