Having big muscles even lets them grab large swords.


On that note, now there's an easily available source of slaves with combat training. The Gymnasium Academy. If you buy enough slaves from them, eventually you get an event that upgrades them in which you can have them all come with combat training. You can make a max of 10K from lethal pit fights, so you'd be able to buy gladiators who die each week and pocket the difference. Wonder if it's worth the effort for a 5K+ profit.

Does anyone know exactly what ''governs'' the random 'hormonal effects' ? What makes them occur more or less often... or absolutely randomly... on slaves ?


Because, and here this is my personal opinion, I find them goddamn annoying !


Trying to make ''perfect slaves''(big everywhere, you know) become virtually impossible, for some. Random(as far as I can tell) slaves, from the very start (quite often), will get ''Hormonal effect did this or that'', reducing breasts/clit/cock/testicles left and right, slightly or a lot, without rhyme or reason. :mad:


After many tries and a lot of time, the only conclusion I can come up with his : This mechanics is stupid and serve practically no purpose other than to be a mosquito-like hindrance to game-play.

Female/Male Growth hormones shrink some things and enlarge other things. A slave being fat, skinny, or naturally male/female also makes changes. You can get the good results by intentionally making all slaves plush and extremely muscular, then shooting them up with breast/penis/butt enhancements, as needed.

In any case, I should have *precised* that, even after stopping all and any 'hormones things', the effects would STILL continue to randomly occurs... like way after stopping using the ''stuff'', even if it was used only once.


So, if I were to try to counter-balance using, say, female hormones with... Building muscles at the same time, or just give male hormones a number of times equal to the 'female' usage, or anything that might seems logical in an attempt to fix things..? Nope. It's a bowl of spaghetti that you dropped on the floor... good luck cleaning the mess now.


Basically, one big problem is that it seems that as soon as there's SOMETHING tipping the scale in one direction... everything fall into chaos, and it's hell to try to make things fall back in line and not degrade further in one direction or another. Way harder/annoying than it should be, really.

If I'm reading that correctly, you're having your slaves undergo bodily changes after taking them off of any body altering substance/diet change? If that's the case, then that sounds more like a bug than a feature.


However, if what you're really and truly saying is that using all those to find the perfect balance for a slave is literally the worst, then I can sympathize with you on that one.


As one primary example, using female hormones on a slave will boost milk production, if by a small amount. When you're society customization is bodily fluids, this means more profits. The only reason I don't use them for that purpose is because that it runs the risk of making the slave gain a high feminine voice, which makes me think in my head that my slave now sounds like a teenage girl instead of a woman.

It's likely because you can't 100% control the effects of those drugs in the real world, honestly if you want to balance the effects than use a blend of options. For instance Breast enhancers with male hormones and keep the slave one weight tier away from the size and bust you want in the end, as when she diets/builds muscle that should change to what you need. Another trick for controlling bust size is to temporarily give a girl the lactation mod so her bust increases, then you free up the drugs for maintaining her ass or lips. Also when you take someone of the drugs I'm guessing the drug needs to actually leave their system before the effects end but I'm not looking at the code right now so that's just conjecture, as that's how I'd code it. Also long-term drug use has random effects anyway, has done for a while with the minor medical maladies that occur even if someone is off their drugs now. Admittedly there is some flaws in the coding as I've gotten the fluff variants that make it sound like a lump being found on a fresh slave (AKA no drugs) is due to a past drug regime.


Anyway I'll be pushing out a release later today for my modded version, if you have any quick options (like outfits, hair options or something) I'll have a look at including them.

I think I know the problem you're having.  The effects aren't continuing after you stop hormone treatments, different things just cause different hormonal effects.  Muscle building, for example, always causes an increase in male hormones which will shrink breast and ass sizes as well as making facial features more masculine.  Food also causes hormonal changes, you might want to check your arcology upgrades to see if you bought the one that makes food dispensers compensate for a slave's personal hormonal balance.

EDIT: Casino gambling payout is bugged due to FCDev's code tweaks, not going to fix it as I'll be checking it in 6.6 for the update.


Anyway given we have multiple captures during the raids it should be possible, I'll think it over though as I'm guessing giving it themed events for the various acrology directions would be nice. I'll push a generic one though once I figure it out, likely utilising flags to queue up certain event responses so you can control how many slaves you buy.

I've downloaded the game and played on my phone just fine. The screen size and scaling is obviously meant for a desktop, but it is more than playable on other devices on your browsers.

Balancing profits and a sense of personal morality in this game... it's hard. Though my favourite thing to do is buy abused slaves from the public market, turn their live around and make them a model, healthy and devoted little cocksucker.

Yes and whats really great is that previous saves work on it and so will future updates :D

You're telling me that from now on, saves will be forward compatible? Dang. If only I had made my save where I was making 1million a week one update later.

From memory, this required 300 slaves in the arcade, 220 in the dairy and 80 in the collection facility. I had a perfect milkmaid in the dairy and no collectrix. Couldn't figure out what the heck a stacked figure is and how to create it.


Max degrading society with max milking and both laws passed. Venture capitalist was chosen at the start and the archolgy was fully upgraded. Social engineering was also picked and from turn 1 activated degrading society. The cooperation was pumping in 75K a week. The key there is to always buy a max amount of anything that's a low price. When you have a surplus of medical, surgical and training assets, the company rapidly improves slave assets for more profits.


I wanted to do 2 million per week, but the game really, really starts to slow down after you get past 400 slaves. At 550 there was a 30 second lag trying to throw anyone else into the arcade. I had decided to wait to play again until there was an update that improved stability, but then this one came out.


In this current version you could do it even faster, with the new industrial milking facilities. It's perfect.


Currently all you have to do to get paid is buy a good 14 or so new, cheap slaves ,then throw them into an arcade that milks slaves. They all get implants for lactation at the end of the week. Then, take all the slaves out of the arcade and toss them into the dairy. Then buy more slaves and put them in the arcade. The degrading society has no reputation penalties for arcades, so make sure and start with social engineering to take advantage of that. When you get more reputation, you can move on to milking. The guides I posted earlier in the thread cover everything else, just make sure and build a perfect milk maid in the beginning.

Perhaps you're not meant to have that many slaves, and there's just too much information the game needs to process.

Well the coding isn't the most efficient, which is fair, as FC author didn't know code when he started. For example, you've probably already noticed slowdown once you get past the 50 slave mark, typically when you capture all those slaves from the attacks. A rewrite of some of these parts of the code would let you go up to 1000 slaves.

I never aimed for that many. I tend to acquire, train, sell. It's what's most fun to me.

Yeah, to each their own. My greatest joy is getting paid and seeing how far you can push things to the limits. The game is designed in a way that you can be successful as long as you have an income stream. No serious cruelty required.

Alright, first of I have to say this game is right up there on my list of favorite games ever, not just smut games. Its that good as a managerial game, and all of the props and kudos to the devs for making this thing free. Expect Paetron goodies as soon as I can into good income. 


That said, bad news. One, I'm hitting glitches with all my facilities- Dairy, club, brothel, arcade: all have problems. I'll put screenshots and quotes in the report bugs section later, but that's my biggest issue. Next issue is that I'm hitting similar glitches when I personally train slaves after turn 15 or 20. Third issue is that around turn 30, I get the Firefox script error message, normally for the "what everyone did" screen. Not far enough in the game on Chrome to see If the issue is browser specific, but I doubt it.


Content- wise, I am still on my first playthrough, and going dairy- centric in Firefox and New Rome in Chrome, with kindness being a key thing. So far, wishing there was more in that area.

I don't think you should expect alot of kindness-related content, as that doesn't seem to be the direction the maker wants the game to go in. I don't think it will ever get more kind than going for Paternalism, and then not treating your slaves like shit.


- And now for my opinion on the update!


The new slave shelter is really disappointing. Like, really, really disappointing. The thing I like most about the game is taking in the battered, bruised and abused slaves, turning their life around, and then selling them to a non-cruel master or mistress. I feel the shelter is basically just a big middle finger to that kind of player, and the slaves you get can pretty much only be used for managerial or servantile purposes, but with how stupid they often are, this is nearly impossible.

New save. Started by opening up an arcade with the degrading option. Noticed not much money was coming in. At first I stuffed as many slaves into the arcade as possible and didn't improve the arcade. It still had a max of 5 and I kept 30+ in there. When slaves got to the edge of death, I'd take them out and give them curatives while they worked glory holes. Bought the milking upgrade so all the slaves would lactate. Spent many turns heavily in debt, but eventually got enough cash to open a dairy. Took all of the slaves from the arcade and tossed them into the dairy. Bought 7 more slaves and put them into the arcade. Rinse and repeat.


At week 28 and just became a millionaire. Could have done it faster. The degrading society isn't as valuable anymore because the new collection facilities pump out more money, so you should start with milking. I wasted weeks maxing out degrading only to switch to milking later by abandoning and repicking. The arcade can be filled out later after you've filled the dairy up with slaves. It makes less money, but it lags much less as you're tossing slaves in there.


The real MVP as far as profits is the Growth Research Institute. They sell slaves with huge tits who are all virgins. You eventually get an event that can make them all lactate, letting you toss them in the dairy right away. After that happens, don't bother buying slaves from anywhere else. It's a waste of time.


At week 32 and just had the first 1 million earned in a week. With the help of the breast growth event.  At 305 cows I decided to start filling up the arcade. Unlocked the second societal option and picked the degrading society. Finally made 1 million in a week without events at 38 weeks. Ended up getting to 2 million per week again by 44 weeks. You can definitely make even more money. I have 310 slaves in the dairy and 90 in the arcade. Apparently the arabic society also increases your rents, but it failed for me even when I had 19 slaves in the master suite. It must require a lot of master suite slaves.


With 310 slaves in the dairy, the game lags for 15 seconds each time you toss a slave in, but it makes me 800K on it's own. I reset back to week 35 though, before I failed the arabic society. Wanna see if that gives out more money.

I hope other people are helped by this! There's people saying they have trouble playing because the weather events are too hard. That 50K for weather cladding is too much and they lose by the time the Daughters appear. Maybe these tactics will help people enjoy the game more.

I have never actually lost this game. Closest I've ever gotten was a bad RNG with weather, forcing me to buy the cladding very early. (I've seen it go to week 100, and still not have to buy it)
