Since we are having a pool about our favorite companions, I though it would be fun if we had one about that one guy/gal that we like, but that is also on the bottom of totem pool in terms of our friends/lovers.
Basically, just describe what you fancy about them, what you find in them lacking and what you would like to see out of them in the future. Something that would bump them up in the rankings. Be it new sex scenes, events, quest line, story progression. Anything really.

Edit: This is not about companions that you dislike or do not care about.

I voted Kiyoko--I think you can guess why, but yeah, she doesn't scratch that itch for me.

It's not because she won't fuck people without cocks or strapons--I mean that's a given. I just have no interest in her sex scenes, and being a dad--I mean mom. I just don't care about it, so I'll probably never be interested in Kiyoko. She has no flexibility in her likes or dislikes and you have to like speedy pregnancies, siring, being a father, and hime personalities. None of which I find particularly appealing--and hey, if you happen to like that stuff, then Kiyoko might be right up your alley.

Not surprised Quin and Azzy are top in the ranks.

I voted for Arona. I just dislike her archetype. She's followed by Kiyoko, but not too closely: though I have zero interest in her kinks and the whole kitsune and Kinu stuff, I like her gimmicky magic.

This one comes down to a hard choice between Quin and Brienne for me, they're the two I currently have the biggest issue with.

I just like absolutely nothing about Brienne whatsoever. I could go on a whole rant about it but this is neither the time nor the place, so the long and short of it is that I dislike her writing and, much more damning, she doesn't appeal to any of my kinks.

As for Quin, I can't help but associate him with his writer's more colorful behaviors now, and it makes it extremely difficult to actually enjoy his smut scenes.

I love their personalities but I dislike how closed their sexual/relationship dynamics are, if Brint is a dom top exclusively and Brienne is a sub bottom exclusively it is... puzzling how they are the same person, I'd prefer if you could dom Brint and sub for Brienne if the mood strikes but how the both of them are so fixed on being polar opposites just because a sex change turns me off, I am aware Brint has two scenes for dominating him but they are cock locked and boy I hate playing characters with dicks

I also don't like Brint's art/him having a snout but that's less important

I love Brienne, but I don't blame anyone for not finding her content attractive. I think the pull for me is that she's utterly in love with the champion, but I wish her sex scenes were a bit more give-and-take, equal in power and dominance. My champion is only 5'7'', she could quite literally punt me through a brick wall and then some. I guess that's kind of her appeal, taming a formidable woman, but I want to unleash that power...onto me.

It's not so much dislike but disinterest for me and its probably split between Quin and Kiyoko.

Kiyoko was naturally written with a male/dick wielding champ in mind so as someone who plays pure female champs she's relatively uninteresting for me. I feel she's very much either you like her/her interests or you don't & I'm not really interested in being on the siring side of things. I'm not sure if much could be added/done with her that doesn't fundamentally change the character to make her more interesting to me but that's okay.

Quin I'm just not fond of his personality and I don't like how he speaks about people/your companions. I definitely think bad first/early impressions have turned me off from his character so I don't know if I'd like him even with a redepmtion or w/e you want to call it arc.

The rest of the companions I quite like to varying extents but thinking on it Quin is the only companion I pretty much never interact with after initial recruitment so its probably him xD.

I am somewhat since I specifically worded it like that so that Quin would not dominate the pool by this much. Since this is not meant as poll for a companion that you dislike/do not care about (which seems to be general opinion for the bunny boy). This poll was is about a character that you like/enjoy mostly, but that also posses those tiny/large/nagging problems that prevents you from getting most out of them.

LIke how Mouseling described both Brienne/Brunt. She likes them, but still wishes that their sexual content was more diverse.

Or Quin/Cait in my case.
The former: I find some parts of his personality pleasent, and I like his subby content. But I would like if his sexual magic was optional (it makes me uncomfortable), he was not so seemingly cold to champion compared to everyone else (he honestly seems more willing to fuck everyone else, only bonning the champ since no one else is really interested) and for him to have bottoming content.

And I like Cait for her BFF energy and sluty nature does lead for some fun sex scenes. But her sluttiness a lot of times seems like a crux that the game leans on to much while not really exploring some of her more interesting implications of her supposed love for the champion.

And on more personal note, her sluttiness just seems to much dick-focused. There are not many scenes where she has a threesome with vagina PC that doesn't involve them sucking dick. Nothing inherently wrong with that, but it kind of adds up with how she lacks a romantic equivalent of her anal scene for female/cboys champ -- or how her Malach path makes her even more sausage hungry (which is why I do not build it). It makes it kind of hard to buy that she would be interested in the champ romantically when they lack necessary equipment.

Out of these 2, I think Cait is easiest to "fix". Just add some threesome/orgies between her, other girls/cboys and vagina champ. And more romantic/caring scenes inclusive to all.

I mean it's fine for me if Cait does prefers dick since a lot of female characters in general is more into dicks than vagina so not a surprise for me (but it would be nice if there were more characters that are equally enthusiastic about it) but yeah she does get REALLY dick focused and especially so if Sally happens to be pregnant (with Sally talking about Cait should follow her footstep offering her womb to Mallach service).

I don't mind Cait's sluttiness and I think it's great female characters owning up to it but considering how closely tied sexual attraction and romantic attraction are especially in this game (yes I know it's porn game but still) as Animalistic says, I can't ever see Cait as romantic interest for vag-only champs. It would help if she has romantic scenes that's not dick locked to actually make pc feels special to her. I still enjoy being her as BFF/subby fuckbuddies with her tho (like the mino soldiers scene).

I also feel u on the Brienne. You can't really do anything with her unless pc has a dick (and i hate playing characters with dick. ghostlight is far as i go but i like it so much better when character acknowledge its a strap on and not treat is as a real dick). Wish there were more scenes with her for vag-only champ (probably bc when Brienne was created vag-only champs weren't the target audience).

Which is my like of Brienne pretty much hinges on Rina lesdom scene. If Rina lesdom didn't exist I would never have Brienne bc she's like a totally different character and I feel super guilty for doing that to Brint (who's one if my favorite character). Even if PC in game has plausible deniability and considering how popular she is the game will have some explanation saying it's fine her transformation still feels like brainwashing to me.

I voted for Cait. Since this is about which one I like the least and not about which one I dislike the most, it has to be her. Almost every other companion has a flavor that I can enjoy when in the right mood, but honestly with Cait, there just isn't anything particularly special there for me. I may lean heavily toward the more romantic companions, but it's only really because there's something special there, something within the scenes that is endearing and emotional.

While I enjoy Cait as a character overall, I've almost never done her scenes more than once because the thing about gettin' down with the greatest ho in Ho Town is that you're just getting the same things you know she gives everyone. The writing makes it really clear that everything she does for you she's done a hundred times or more for a hundred other people, making it feel routine and unexciting. Anal aside, she just doesn't really have any big bonding wow factor for me.

I'm sure she works for a lot of other people but for me she's just bland.

Hmm, I'm not sure I understand the topic fully, but I'll take a shot at this. I have to go with Etheryn then. She's a sweetie and adorable at both low and high confidence, and her character arc is fun, but you know what I'm going to fucking say it.

Boning an ice cube is a big no thanks for me. No matter how cute she is, no matter how much romantic chemistry builds up between her and the champ, the irrational(or is it??) fear of frostbitten genitals and other fun body parts shall always prevail.

Sadly, I'm not sure there is a fix for this other then having her wear full fur clothing in bed alongside a small fur sweater for her junk when she gets the cage off. This is a pain with which there will be no respite.

My interest in companions is mainly tied to their combat performance, which is why Agni is my least favorite one. Besides War Hym and the occasional Cauterize she doesn't really do much. Other support companions like Viviane and 3 out of 4 Kiyoko sets have way more positive impact, at least in my experience.

A close second is Kiyoko. Like many, I don't like the hard requirement of knocking her up to get her as a companion. Roleplay-wise that doesn't fit with most of my characters.

That being said, I always recruit all companions as a kind of future proofing. I really don't want to lock myself out of good gear or good companion sets because of a decision I made ages ago. This is why Kiyoko stings even more, since she requires the most commitment of all companions. I don't care if I toss some coins to Quin or run a small errand for Agni or Viviane. Kiyoko requires a unique resource, which is an adjustment to my narrative. Maybe that's just me, but I always try to come up with a reason why my champ would want to knock her up. I don't care about Kinu. I just want a companion that I rarely use and potential loot, and now my champ is emotionally invested in a child I will never interact with. But pretending Kinu never happened doesn't feel right from a roleplay standpoint. This is always hammered home when I get a Kinu flashback and think "Oh right, Kinu exists".

Not gonna lie. I've been thinking about this for 30 minutes and don't know what to say. I'm pretty indifferent to all companions content wise. My interest in them is really volatile as in one day Arona is the number one, on others Azzy is the pinnacle of sexuality and the next day I'm digging through all of Caits content. The combat part plays a big role, since I mostly bring the good companions and thus I experience alot of their content and interact with them more. That's why Agni gets the short end. I never see a reason to bring her. Kiyoko is a bit different, in that I have a slightly negativ disposition against her. Her sexual content isn't to my liking and then theres the whole thing about Kinu, as stated above.

As for fixes: More companion sets, which is something that will happen eventually. For Kiyoko: Companionship without the need of pregnancy.

Yeah I had 0 intention of ever going Brint > Brienne for similar reasons but then the Rina lesdom happened and I got genuinely flustered lmao.

It's a shame because I love his date & repeatable scenes and his stuff in the mino soldier scenes but you lose all those aspects of his personality/content with Brienne. She needs to learn from her little sister xD

Quin is the companion for me who needs the most story development, and I have the least faith that it's going to get in the game. There's also the whole thing with he's a noble but he's also a failed spy but he's also a reforming cultist but he's also a scholar of forgotten magics and god damn dude pick a lane.

I also considered Agni due to being pretty new and not really having development yet, but she's got a cool set-up and B still has plenty of time to follow up.

To me, it's not surprising. I think you either like her or you don't like her. She's pretty divisive as a character, a good chunk of the playerbase ignores her or they run to her as soon as they get out of the tutorial. It's just the nature of what she is.

Every companion has their strengths and weakness, and I don't personally hate any of them. So I would have to say either Arona or Etheryn. I'm just not the target audience.

I prefer my relationships with only one dick, mine. And none of the boys are too pushy for attention. Arona and Etheryn, however, require some sexual interaction, and although you can evade it, I would feel bad about it.

Next, probably Agnimitra, Azzyrran or Atugia, just for a lack of familiarity with their content.

Heh, well when I voted, much like Antler I misinterpreted the thread title and voted for Quinn, since I really don’t care for him at all.

That said, based on your clarification, I’d say Agni. She’s not badly written or anything, but she just is kinda randomly there, without any real connection to the story. To me she just feels really out of place.
