The demon slaying swords from Maidensbane have been bugged since they were added. They fundamentally do not work, they provide buffs to the enemies instead of the player and have done for some time now. I am aware that its encouraged to make a bug thread rather than posting in here, but there is already a bug thread for these swords that has not been responded to by devs at all

While I understand the frustration, sometimes those bug threads get drowned out by others. For bugs that are important to me, I like to bump the thread usually stating that this is still an issue with (type current version of game here). To get it back into an area of visibility.

unfortunately the thread i'm referring to is Resawar's report of it, which has been doing exactly that since april, to absolutely no effect as far as I can tell. Actually going a bit further, it seems like no bugs reported on the forums have been marked fixed since version 0.8.35 in May. Its hard not to compare that unfavourably to TiTS bugfixes in which things seem to get fixed about a week after the report. Like I know its different teams and all, but its been months since anything reported here got looked at as far as I can tell for coc2

I think it's a matter of resource allocation. TiTS gets bugs fixed faster, but most of the content updates for it are just new sex scenes. CoC2 gets quests and whatnot more often, which is probably a lot more time-consuming for the coders.

This is just me spitballing, I may be way off here.

The longest time I know a bug report sat around was two and a half years but I assume my new set will be fixed faster, maybe after the estate is finished? Most of the fastest bug fixes are crashes and typos, which makes sense with what the game is.
