The census is certainly skewed so that 70% of galaxy are futanari, 20% are women, 9.9% are feminine men and .000001% are masculine men but that is both the taste of the writers and much of the audience as well as simple utility, so that there's something to go somewhere no matter what sort of abomination Steele Jr. becomes.
If there's too much of anything it's paint by numbers waifu writing. A lot of them blend together because they're just hitting the same beats that most of the other content does so quite a number of characters are forgettable not because they have the same body type but because they act the same and their content unfolds the same way.

Sadly, this list is rather outdated. Like... 18 months? I believe the only males to be added in that time period that would count for this are shiny aggron Chaurmine (who i'm outraged that you forgot in your previous post) and daddy dog Ciaran
So as not to just dump on anyone in particular I'll say that if you encounter a futanari there's a pretty good chance of getting

is more likely. So there's a lot of archetyping that gets boring and characters that blend into each other within this framework. Even when there's less of that some of the more waifuish content tends towards following beats like pick up at bar > immediate sexcapades > endearment knotting or cuddle scenes > "but see I'm actually deep" says the girl stripping her way to a neuroscience degree > repeat.
Many of the more popular characters at least try to eschew The Puppyslut Formula even if they're playing exactly to archetype and it's those divergences that drum up much of the interest or players longing to get those by-the-numbers waifu scenes out of them as an eventual payoff rather than just an upfront show of how adorable and lovable they're supposed to be.
That's why the characters who buck the trends entirely also tend to be fairly memorable.
Aliss is not a trap male but a shemale, as are all the other ovir males in existance.
I guess by original definition of 'trap' Aliss fits it, being for all intents and purposes female outwardly until "surprise!" and her dong is revealed.
It might be just me, but I have a good way to tell which ones they are - those which thread forums, after seeing the writer develop cuddle scenes, flood with "Hand holding? How lewd!" messages. (That joke stopped being funny ages ago, I swear...)
The difference is basically which framework it works off of. A trap has a male body as its base (flat chest, schlong, balls) but looks androgynous due to facial features and maybe wider hips, shorter height, stuff like that. A futanari starts with a female body (noticeable breasts, usually but not necessarily a cunt, standard hips and facial features) but has some parts that can confuse things, like a dick (with or without balls) - outside of those, though, their features aren't really androgynous. Hermaphrodites are the opposite, starting with a male body but with the opposite or both parts down below.

While those may be your definitions of those words, those aren’t the definitions TiTS uses. Futanarti and herm both refer to people specifically with both a vagina and a dick, but futa refers solely to feminine body types, while herm can refer to a masculine or feminine body type.
@sumgai You forgot Penny (female, can be pushed gently nudged to a futa) although I'm still a bit annoyed that her only vaginal content is when she's penetrating you. Unless bimbo Penny has vaginal content, but I'm not really into that stuff.
Bimbo Penny does have vaginal, but she drones on about cum throughout most of the act(like she does involving anything you choose at that point). Which is kind of funny.
TiTS doesn't maintain or enforce consistency period when it comes to word usage.
Hermaphrodite is specifically a male character who loses his tackle box and gains a tentfold or winds up with both depending on the telling, though, while futanari is a loanword that refers specifically to the opposite situation. So when you're talking about body archetypes these are the correct definitions. From there lines can be blurred with usage and people not knowing origins and exact meanings and so on.

A 'trap' is a feminine male, I would recommend never saying 'shemale' but it is used to refer to transwomen in porn, and futanari is a hentai term that means they have both and usually refers to women('futa' literally means 'two'). A hermaphrodite is a creature that can change it's sex naturally like a clownfish, someone with some combination of male and female sexual and reproductive organs would be intersex.
So, then what are slugs? Or flowering plants with both stamen and pistil in same flower? They have both organs at same time, no male or female dimorophism, and don't switch. And there are plenty other organisms like that.
Basically, you're terminology is wrong. A hermaphrodite, as stated multiple times, is not a switching animal but one with both fully functional organs at the same time naturally. Intersex only applies to fully sex-separate species as a genetic/development condition.
Don't bring up the 'slur' thing plz Scarlett. It gets convoluted (Or whatever the word for it is, I can't think of another way to describe it) considering you're playing a game where girls with dicks, whether actual trans or not, are usually referred to as shemales regardless simply for the dick+boobs combo as is. And many people, plus the writers of said characters use the same porn terminology on them constantly. You can't recommend and expect people to not say something just to keep from offending you, nobody likes word policers bruh. >.>

I just meant to point out that in humans, and theoretically humanoids, it would be incorrect to call them a hermaphrodite and that they would instead be called intersex.
'Shemale' is a terrible word. I ignore seeing it in-game, but it's really awful to hear. I'm not trying to police language, I'm just saying that it hurts a bit.
Another issue is that 'hermaphrodite' can mean a lot of things, which is why intersex is used.
This only applies to, again, species that doesn't have natural hermaphrodism in it. Kaithrit, Gryvain, etc, none of these are intersexed. I get it, yeah, some people are fucking dicks. I'm a fucking biologist. Hermaphrodite has and always will be to me as I've stated. Never a slur, always a specific definer.
This. If there's something that ruins my game experience are those almost-the-same-but-different-looking NPC, and the people that keeps pulling that annoying (and frankly, a bit dumb) joke on the forums.
Wow, things certainly got a bit off topic and turned into a debate. Let's not on here. Make a new thread if you want to continue debating about futa/herms and what's a slur. I will say just one thing though. If a word to you doesn't feel like a slur doesn't mean it's not for others, especially those it may target.
Anyways, back on topic! I absolutely adore the female naleen too. I remember when I finally got the cuddle scene and she wanted to skip fighting. I awwed. I'm trying to think if we have any naleen characters but besides that party that Sera takes Steele to, no, we don't. So I'd love to see the female naleen or at least a new one you can chat up/sex.
