Where in the World are Advertisements?

So yeah, despite Fen&Co having a few ads for CoC2 and TiTS, you'd think you could find them on something like Furrafinity or e621 but there's none in there, I'm also led to believe that the ads were once hosted on Newgrounds and such. So yeah the question, why there's no advertisements on sites other that Fen's?

We once considered advertising on furaffinity, but their requirements for banner sizes were such that none of our art fit well and the idea was eventually dropped.

I would imagine that its simply because advertising costs money. Especially online.
Its not like taking an advert in the newspaper, online advertising is based on banner size and the payment per clicks. Here's an article that goes into the cost of banner ads.

I don't believe either Fen or myself have ever taken out ads on other sites. We run the banner ad on the side of the blog and that's about it.
