I feel like I may be flamed for this post but I really hate writing in games where everyone is eager to have sex with you as soon as you meet them. For me it multiplies the eroticism when I have to work for it a little bit.

I also hate excessive flowery language to describe sex acts.

When you go for the older engine (VX Ace), you can get it during a sale for 8 bucks or something like that, even rpg maker mv can be picked up at a sale for cheap. So why not go and pick one of the tilesets from the shop, to make your game look different from all the others...for just 10-20 bucks more?

Carnal Coup's my little baby, while you can read about it in the local thread or at the site, I'll answer a few of the questions here:

• It can be played in the browser, on NewGrounds or itch.io, though admittedly the WebGL version is mostly an advertising tool and can be a little less stable over long play times (PC version is bug free, in my experience)
• The aliens are sort of a mix of what you might find in like a Star Wars or Mass Effect setting, some fairly human, some furry, some furry-adjacent, not really fucking any Elcor though. We have art designs done for 5 of the 8 races, pics up at the site
• It's text-based like TiTS, and has some flexibility in gender/form like those games, but it also has the option to set the gender of the majority of NPCs you'd like to run into during the game. I'm a dude who prefers ladies, but I don't mind the M/M stuff either, and I try to make things work for all perspectives (though I'm always open for feedback on how well it works).
• Re: the comment about putting together an alien crew, this is sort of phase 1 of that storyline - the setting is rather stationary (as in, it literally takes place on a space station), but if the game is completed and I'm up for a sequel, I'm thinking part two will be taking the team you assemble in this game and take it on the road (and make new friends along the way, of course)

Yup, that's basically what I mean, and it's the fact of the matter.

As someone also mentioned in the topic, it's why there SHOULDN'T be a big mystery as to why females are watching gay porn. 2 or more hot guys and no female in sight, and of course it looks less... Degrading and painfully fake, I guess.

I've never quite found a game like it, and while it's VERY good and constantly updated, it'd be nice to find another game similar, perhaps even one that's graphics based... But that's a pipe dream, honestly.

But you're on the right track here. In 3D render software, hairstyles are usually divided in male and female assets. And while creators tend to spend all of their money to make the female model look good (in their own view), usually no money gets spend on the male one. That's why so many male npcs in 3D porn games are bold, because you don't need to spend a penny to do that .

And by the way: That's not only the developers fault! Male assets that are good quality are rare and hard to find. There is just so much more stuff out there for female models.
