Could someone please kindly clarify a few things regarding criticals in TiTs?

So I was on the wiki to see if I could create some kind of build a while earlier, and on the page called "Ground Combat Mechanics" I saw this:

Critical Damage: Percent chance to apply bonus physical damage to a character's attack.

Needless to say, I am somewhat confused.
How much of a bonus physical damage is considered baseline for a Critical?
What is considered baseline for a chance to land a Critical?
Is there some sort of formula regarding this?
Etc.

You likely see my point. There's not much info in the wiki (though I may simply have somehow not stumbled upon it, as is often my luck).

Either way, I would appreciate anyone who could help clear my confusion up.

Thank you, in advance.

Physical weapon Critical hits are 2x damage. Lust weapons are 1.5x. Some abilities can 'Mini-Crit' for 1.5x under specific conditions.
You can see your Critical chance under Codex>Stats>Combat. (Baseline is 5%.)
Critical Bonus is additive, but caps at 50%. (Unreachable until recently)

I just edited the Wiki. Is the current entry clearer?

Yes, thank you. That was genuinely a lot of help.
