What did Fenoxo use to create his text-game?

I know someone might have answered this or fenoxo has mentioned but I can't find it so, if anyone knows, please help! And if you can, please tell me what application I can use to make an awesome text-game like fenoxo. It may seem impossible, but I'm willing to try. I need an app that allows you to do coding like and such but I'm a bit of a newbie so other programs that are for beginners are helpful too. Thank you in advance!

Fenoxo used Adobe Flash, but if you're a beginner than try twine. It allows you to create interactive story games more easily, while also having the ability to extend its capabilities using JavaScript for advanced users. Even if you are not new Flash is not really recommended as it's widely considered a dieing platform.
