i'm not particularly interested in continuing this conversation anymore but the last things I'll point out,
i said nobody is stopping you from lamenting about it. i'm sure the vast majority of people agree with the sentiment that its unfortunate that Will's projects are unfinished. i said you are receiving this reaction because you are suggesting someone continue working on the project because the general consensus by experienced writers and other readers is that the best course of action is to leave the projects alone.
and the general, subjective consensus from readers, many of which knew Will well and are experienced writers themselves, was that it's best to leave the projects alone. that is that we've been attempting to inform you of since the very beginning.
if you're not informed on issue that's fine. if you want to ask questions about that issue, that's also fine. but when you then turn on the people you are asking and refuse to accept the explanations you ask for, doing the exact same thing that multiple other people have done before you, you're probably very quickly going to get a very hard and fast rebuttal.
i won't speak for the phrasing of others, but i felt like i was being civil and logical, providing evidence.
the fact of the matter is, we don't know Will's intent. we can't assume he did or didn't want anything else done with his unfinished projects. the only thing we can go off of is the general consensus by the people who are experienced and informed.
and i'll reiterate since you never responded, it depends on what you mean by to finish a project. you, or any other writer, are allowed to expand on the existing content of these projects by discarding Will's original plans. whether or not
that is a good idea, i'm not sure.
i would recommend that you do actually read through william's thread since you seem fairly invested. maybe it won't change your opinion, but maybe you'll understand why you're getting the response you're getting. starting around
this post is a decent starting point. and understand that if you don't and continue to assert your opinions, you're likely to continue getting responses you don't like.
