What Content Would You Like Added?

Okay, adding ammo types or the like is just a needless complication for a few reasons.
- As Paradox mentioned, inventory space is at a premium.
- You're either going to have to go back and forth to stores to buy ammo or go to a specialised store to buy the option.
- You'd have to go through every enemy encounter in the game and readjust them, both to have them affected by the new ammo types and to compensate.
- Likewise, you'd have to go through every weapon in the game and adjust them by type.
- Perks already cover your weaknesses in that area. And probably a back-up weapon. And tease abilities.

Any one of those reasons is enough to shoot down that idea, because its a lot of work for the writers and coders to go through.

I can only imagine what a nightmare that would be for Gedin if he and the coders had to write in a while overhaul of the game engine to accommodate that particular mechanic.

You could easily say that every weapon has a nano factory producing ammo (the concept isn't that outrageous, having been used in different games and literature), all you need to do is supply the basic material (similar to Mass Effect's thermal clips). But other than that, an ammo system wouldn't add anything except a headache for the coders.

I mean, most Mass Effect weapons aren't energy-based. It's been a while since I've read the relevant lore, but they file off an infinitesimally small piece of metal from a block inside the gun and propel it at supersonic speed, resulting in functionally unlimited ammo, or at least unlimited enough for an average mission.

I agree she would be a good choice, but disagree that she's the only choice. Penny, Paige, and Kiro would all be good choices. Arguments could be made for most non-Bimbo Crew really, even some non crew would work.

Logistics Officer fits better than Cargo Master. It's more professional, which fits Kase's personality better, and more accurate, since Steele's ship doesn't even carry cargo in the first place.

Also, Anno is clearly the ship's merchant. She has the best buy/sell prices in the game.

Like TiTSFan said, pretty much any non-bimbo crew member could be second in command. They could easily pull double duty as 2IC and whatever they usually do; it's not like the ship's going anywhere while Steele is off Planet Rushing or whatever, so their 2IC duties wouldn't come up much.

Anno, Kiro, and Ben/Bess (at max relationship of course) are my top picks for First Mate, tbh. I would say Paige, but she’s always been more a navigator even in her pirate days.

Everyone who isn’t a bimbo has a good skillset, but most aren’t suited to being leaders, which is a quality needed in First Mates.

Though I guess Ben is iffier out of my picks, but I personally think he can handle things since he pays close attention to the hows and whys of my way or running things.

Okay, I think I’d hand it to Kiro since she actually has experience in addition to knowledge. Bonus if we’re on The Blade (which reminds me I should get to switching and upgrading the space.

Say, I really think we should have an option to upgrade our stored ships so we don’t have to punt crew member/clowncar cheat just to switch. >.>;
