Hey, so I decided to make this thread since there wasn’t one for it.

Basically, it’s where you discuss webcomics you like and stuff.

Obviously, I like Oglaf; that goes without question. If you haven’t read it, I hope this excerpt is enough to convince you of its quality. Note that it is very NSFW, which isn’t an issue for anyone on this site but is necessary to note.

A comic I’ve recently been reading is Cassiopeia Quinn, which is about a space thief and her cyborg boyfriend. It has pretty good art and a fair amount of fanservice, although it isn’t an adult comic and is PG-13 overall. It also has some good story stuff and an incredibly adorable warrior culture.

A bit more obscure on the other to is Val and Isaac, which is about a space mercenary named Val and her wizard friend Isaac who go on space adventures. It’s pretty funny and got some jokes, as well as decent art. It’s by far the most family friendly comic on this list, although whether or not that’s important is up to you. Also pretty much all the main characters in it are gay except Isaac, who is asexual.

Anyway, if anyone here is interested or already reads one of these comics, let me know! I’d be more than willing to share some more!

Not gonna go through the trouble of grabbing images but...

El Goonish Shive. Starts off attempting shounen, but finds itself better suited to Slice of Life, the art gets way better. Transformation and gay shit, all PG.

TwoKinds. Magic and stuff, mostly PG.

Rain, by Jocelyn Samara. Bad art but good gay shit. PG

Spinnerette. I can't pay for it so it's not a great experience, but I like what content I have gotten. Usually PG.

Grrl Power. Superheroes, mostly ladies, neurotic mc.

Kill Six Billion Demons. Strange and cool, amazing art, gay shit.

Questionable Content. Neat and famous, art gets way better.

Sister Claire. Magic ladies and gay shit, kinda shounen.

Go Get a Roomie! Very gay, slice of life, pretty cool.

I'd have a lot more read but I don't have the time to be honest. Someday

The only webcomics I currently read are Mage & Demon Queen, a delightfully queer fantasy romance, and Questionable Content, which I've been reading since fucking High School jeez.

Oh Kill Six Billion Demon’s is pretty good! Love my girls White Chain, Cio, and Allison.

I tried out El Goonish Shive but I made the mistake of not skipping the early parts.

So, which of the comics I posted strike your fancy?

Questionable Content
Ey, other QCers!

Used to have about a dozen or comics that I used to read first thing when I got into work. Unfortunately, most have finished or became crap.

So currently, I read:
- Penny Arcade
- Goblins (Goblins become adventurers...and realise how fucking awful their world is)
- Twokinds
- Questionable Content
- Arcane Eon (because a good friend of mine makes it)

Used to read Ctrl+Alt+Del but the guy is a douche.
Least I Could Do is the same, especially when the writer uses it as a soapbox decrying the world for all its faults, which is very difficult to take seriously where his mouthpiece is a millionaire executive who likes in a giant mansion modelled after Minas Tirith.
Looking For Group just became bogged down and actually hasn't progressed the story...ever.
Withershins ended, which is a shame because I really enjoyed it.
Menage a 3 is an example of a story that continued for too long by writers who had no idea how to finish the story.

Some more webcomics I like to check out:

Another webcomic that’s good (even if I haven’t really gotten around to reading much of it) is Lackadaisy, which is incredibly beautiful and a definite recommend.

latest

While it starts like your usual shitpost-y gag comic, Scoob and Shag is essentially a shonen manga that just so happens to star American cartoon characters. The fights are bloody and desperate, with opponents that seem almost like gods compared to our heroes. It also has some fun lore to its world. Definitely reccomended for people who like JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure or My Hero Academia.

Paranatural is a pretty good webcomic with expressive art that bolsters not only its comedy but humor as well. I haven’t read it in a while though.
