Waystone Location at the far eastern edge of the map?

I've played the game many times and always enjoy new content after taking a break. I have all the usual locations:
Foothils
Wayfort
Marefolk Village
Centaur Village
Kitsune Den
Winter City

However, I can't find a way to unlock what is for me the "last" waypoint. It's the one on the far east of the waypoint map.

I am puzzled.

It represents the waystone statue for the Undermountain, which was recently added to the game. You need to either talk or fight your way past the gate guards who've been in the game for ages at the southeastern edge of the Foothills map. You can talk your way past after clearing the Palace of Ice or you can try your luck fighting them whenever you like, just be prepared for the consequences of attacking some very horny bulls if you lose.
