I can play any role from dps to tank all the way to support but I don't know which one to pick

Yes Brienne as a tank or dps(don't know which yet) and Cait for the heals

Oh I was using a team with both of the a bit a go. Black mage, you can tank or DPS. It will mostly come down to if you want to use arena (tank) or Pyromancer (DPS) Brienne. With Black mage and witch set Cait (her strongest healing set) you get 2 +10 sleep bonuses for willpower at level 3. On the same not Pyromancer Brienne uses willpower for her attacks.

No problem. I find going for a spellblade works pretty well for using both of them. You can go Strength, Agility, presence and use Velun's Blessing for max willpower for the party. When you using the farm to get a good bit of money that is pretty easy.
For a tank maybe try
Duelist's Stance, Power wave, Cleave, Spirit Veil

For DPS try the same with Charge Weapon for the At-will.
