I've been playing the .42 version and I've noticed that, despite Hermione being interested, I cannot make any kind of sexual advances on her. Is it that she isn't fully finished? True, Ginny and Luna do have their own romance quests and all that, but I wouldn't mind having Hermione as my girl's girlfriend.
Also, adding Madam Pince as an option for an encounter is...... interesting, even if both of you could get in some sirius
trouble if discovered, though Nymphadora "Don't Call Me That" Tonks would be a much better option, for, hopefully, understandable reasons.
About Metamorphosis quest: does it mean that one will be able to...... add..... certain parts to your char?

The game still at early stage of the development. Version 0.4x has less of a half of planned content. We will release version 0.5x soon. It will included a several new quests with Hermione too...
Alpha version of 0.5x branch is already released for our 10$+ patrons. We will release a public version as soon we finalized planned for this version content and fix all bugs. It will takes a week or two.
So, here it is. Your long-awaited public version. We did it for two months, it's true. But the size of this version is almost twice as average update for our games. 16,000+ words of text are not jokes.
Also in the new version:
- Eight new locations
- Seven new quests, mainly in new locations
- A new secondary character
- Two new soundracks
- The game time is extended until the end of November.
- Redesigned player character's sprites. Now he/she has both hands and lots of poses.
- Added random encouters at dating place.

So, in the prologue you can buy the recommended wand, a cheap wand, or an extra large wand that an innuendo filled conversation warns you is "too much to handle" for someone so young. Is this meant to be solely a dick joke, or do those wands actually affect the story in any way?

What's new compared to version 0.52:
- 9000 words of text
- 4 new quests, including one very large
- completion of one of the old quests
- 6 scenes with frame-by-frame animation, 4 for female player character and 2 for male player character
- Two scenes with simple animation
- Three backgrounds were completely redrawn
Also, our Parons already testing new sandbox features. Now you can try them too.
Firstly, the choice of "Praise" topic now ends the conversation, and ALWAYS adds one point of the relationship. You will not be able to select this option if you have already discussed other topics. This is done so that you can quickly develop a relationship if you do not want to choose a lot of topics. If you don't want this, then you can play as before, hoping to get up to 3 points of the relationship instead of a guaranteed one point.
Secondly, we will limit the number of conversations during the daytime. You can talk only once in the morning on weekdays, after which the professor will require silence and begin the lesson. The same will be for the middle of the day, if you are in class. At other times, you can make three conversations, and after the third the next time will come. So you can choose, speak twice and improve your skills, or speak three times.
Thirdly, now there will be an option in some locations to support the conversation in the company. This can bring you points of relationship with everyone who is in the same location.

Shortly after starting the game (my first introduction to DADA) the game told me I had failed an important storyline quest and immediately ended. Idky though, since I'm sure I tried this before and got much further in. Played as Slytherin, if it makes a difference.
We made quest 2 mandatory, as a main storyline's quest. So you must complete it in the first few days.
I believe I can understand which one. You must talk to Ginny to be able to find Harry who was turned into a girl (and a good-looking one, to boot). Of course, being a Snake can be very detrimental in that instance, for obvious reasons.
Plus, while I play a lesbian, I still maintain cordial relations with the guys.
Tbh, I approached it like a dating sim, which generally penalize you for spreading your attentions too thin and interacting with people you're not actively going after. That said, the heads up about the dearth of M/M is appreciated. I do have to admit I rather despised that in the prologue, the MC's room was nonstop tits, but tbh that's pretty common so w/e.

I rather enjoyed it: I approached it with the mentality of "try everything, make friends with everyone," which I think is why I had a different experience to karunama. Here are a bunch of notes. There's more text on the negatives but they are outweighed by the positives.
I chose to be sorted in to Hufflepuff (I wanted to see what you had done with them) and I think this limited the quests I saw. It looks as though quite a lot of content is gated by house, which I feel is a bit of a pity since there's nothing in-fiction stopping you making friends or having adventures with people in other houses. There are a couple of mechanics I feel could be tweaked though:
Hygiene: Taking a shower has no cost and only provides benefits. As such it isn't an interesting choice (the player should always shower) and so is a chore not a fun thing to do (there are rarely other people in the bathroom, so it doesn't even act as a guide for interacting with anyone.) A potential alternative is to force the PC to shower each morning, with an option of raising or lowering arousal for the day, and have random events in the bathrooms during that time.
"You couldn't learn anything." Why not? Was my arousal to high? My skills already at max? What could I have done differently to make it so I did learn something. Also skill checks are hidden, and it would be nice to know what sort of numbers we are aiming for before trying again. (This could be an option in the preferences menu for people that do or don't like numbers.)
Magic causes arousal. Fine. Perfectly acceptable premise for a porn game. But magic isn't a thing the player controls (it just happens in lessons) and arousal isn't something you do much with. Give us options to perform magic; perhaps small events, (like clicking something in the background) and reward us for it (house points / skill ups / relationship points,) while "penalising" us with arousal build. On which note:
Is arousal a good or bad thing? Or does it have aspects of both? Do lessons always want it lower and relationships always want it higher? Currently we can only affect it by moving it downwards (for free) and it isn't clear to the player where they want their arousal levels to be.
Relationship building and quest progression are the only rewards we care about. This isn't a bad thing, but you have gold and house points that exist but aren't really being used for anything. (Maybe have your scholarship contingent on both your academic progress and your house points?)
Locked rooms. Show a padlock on the map screen, please. Quest 2 is essential and requires you to check a room you expect to be locked. After that I have not found a situation where classrooms are unlocked (outside of lessons) but I feel the game still expects me to check them.

People have unique interests and dialogue! This is so important and I love the amount of effort put into it. There are characters here I genuinely want to talk to and have adventures with. The nudity is a small bonus, but really I want to explore this world with these people in it.
The art is good! The character art can feel a little off for animations etc. but I love the background art and the feel it gives the world.
Your quest log is a bit rubbish but at least it exists, functions, and gives players some hints.
The owl is so cute.
There are enough little details to keep you interested. Such as the gossipers and the people on brooms. More of these, please.

Conclusion: Looking good! I'm going to read the patch notes and play every few builds.
Yeah, you can't ignore anyone in this game. For example: in order to initiate Rolf Scammander's quest you need a good relationship with Ginny so she will tell ypu about the rumors of a beast in Hogwarts, and speaking of that quest, it's bugged. If you tell Rolf you find his pet cute the scene ends without telling you of a change to the quest and if you check the Quest tab it says he will speak with Mcgonagall without any way to follow it up. But if you tell him that you must report him he will accept to speak with Mcgonagall the next morning, you receive his update, but if you check the quest tab you receive an error, the same if you try to go to Mcgonagall's classroom for the follow up.
With that out the way I have a few questions about the hints for the M/M scenes. One says that it's for MPCs that have gay content enabled, I'm assuming that refers to the questions Ginny makes about gays and lesbians at the beggining of the game?
Another one says that it's specifically for gay MPCs, does that mean that in order to get that quest I can't do any of the quests for the girls?

About Rolf's quest: I found it perfectly finishable, Yes, I didn't know, at first, that the broom icon was for that quest, but that's okay, I figured it out later.
Speaking of which, is it possible to increase the amount of nights on which you can be caught by Filch while outside your respective dorm? There is a quest in which you either need Stealth or Courage to proceed, and you also need high Quick Eye to improve Stealth, which limits the speed at which you can learn it.
Yes, I do believe that that question is essential for enabling gay content. However, it would be nice if one's PC is able to actually declare their sexuality.
I don't think that not talking to girls is going to affect that quest. Of course, if you become a patron, you will have access to WaW walkthru and cheats and you will be able to find out how each quest is acquired. I would argue that walkthru shouldn't be restricted (I have no problems with having cheats restricted), but I do believe that I am in the minority about such thinking.

Major changes compared to the previous public build:
- 12k words in eight new quests, and also the completion of one old quest (The game contains 75k words and 43 quests now)
- Six new animated erotic scenes
- Three new backgrounds and two old background was redrawn from scratch
- Eleven new erotic illustrations for random events
- Number of sandbox tweaks. For example, shower now take time, but you will need it less often. Unhygienic procedures now illustrated, but you can trigger it only if your arousal high enough.
- We have made a lot of interface's tweaks and changes. Hope you like it.
- You can select game difficulty now.
Attention! Unfortunately, saves from the old versions is not working now. You're must start a new game. So, if you haven't played our game yet, then this is a good version to start.

We are just released a new build of our game. No new content, just bugfixing. The most notable changes are:
- Soften trigger conditions for quests 43. Now it will be easier for you to get it.
- Reduced skill requirements for quest 33. Now you need only 20 points in Transfigurations or Potions skill.

Wands and Witches 0.71 Beta released
We are just released the beta version for our Patrons!
Beta release required more time than we planned. The fact is that we have updated the engine's version starting with the 0.7x game branch. Apparently after this, part of the translation in the game broke. Unfortunately, the engine developer didn't answer us about this problem. So we had to recheck the entire translation manually. Given that the size of the text in our game is already comparable to a novel book, it took a lot of time.
Despite this, the beta is ready. What's new?
- We added eleven new quests and several interactive events to the game. And you can consider interactive events as small quests. It is about 12,000 words of new text in this version.
- You can see the continuation of the main storyline, from two sides.
- Four quests of this version are dedicated to bad guys. Or girls... This means that it will be more interesting for you to play as a Slytherin student.
- You will be able to use magic much more often than before. We took into account your complaints that there is too little magic in our game.
- This version play time ended at Dec, 20.
- You can be expelled from Hogwarts (game over) now.
Compared with alpha:
- All animation is ready.
- Added m/m options in quest51, which was previously turned off due to art's unready.
- Fixed translation errors (I hope all of them. However, if you see non-English text, please send a screenshot or save file to us.)

I am pleased to inform you that now we have all the art needed to rebuild those scenes. So, we will redo all the early scenes with Ginny, with Hermione, with Luna and with Colin, where we used "flying hands" before the release of the public version. It does not take much time. We'll be fine until next weekend.
