Ver0.9.122 broken Orange Myr racial tracking

I have an Orange Myr Steele with Honeypot and Red Venom perks, orange chitin on arms and legs, and a myr tail, but the game's racial points tracker says I don't have any of those physical traits, so I can't choose Orange Myr as my preferred race.

you have to actually complete the quest to unlock the items legitimately for the racial score to work, not just cheat in the item(s). this has been the case since the flash version years ago, so not a bug.

IIRC, this has come up a couple of times.

Is it possible to add a line like 'Myr Hybridization research must be completed'? Not as an actual point, but just as a notification.
