Victoria Steele is canon and is mentioned by name in a Codex I recently wrote. Buckle up for the ~awkward boners~!

I named her Victoria from how Ego-centric Victor was seemingly known to be at times. But this just adds so much more to the wincest cake that is my Steele's life!

I don't know if I should be happy or...something else.

...I should´ve said as expected of my PC´s old man/lady. But for some reason I always thought he remained a man from start to finish. I guess centuries in a world where you can become basically anything you desire makes you want to experiment.

Not that I´m that much better considering I almost got a vagina and egg pregnant just to get more virile. Fertite + really made me dodge a bullet.

...makes me wonder. Was he ever the mother to one of his bastards?

Probably.

On another note I'm having a hard time putting a name to this woman so I can start molding this formless blob of ideas and fetishes into a person. xD Names are hard yo, how do you do it Savin? Slap your unmentionables on the keyboard?

I mostly just use Name Generators or Definitions of certain names.

Between you and me, I have a generator that picks names from the U.S. Census. As long as I have a general lead sound for the name (ie, what letter/vowelsound does it start with), that's usually really good. If I'm looking for something specific, Behind the Name has nationality-based name lists that feed into huge lists of regional variants. I use that for a lot of alien groups -- Ausar names are almost always derived from Greek or Greco-Egyptian names; Red Myr are all Dutch.

Pick a name, replace a few letters, bada-bing bada-boom. Aliens. Also, dumb jokes sometimes get used as names, like in Tam-Tam's case, since Fenoxo names every fucking D&D character "Tam," or Gianna being named after our favorite porn star Gianna Michaels.

Princess Puppyslut's name -- Anno Erane Dorna -- is "Anno Era Domini."

If it helps, the currently named Gryvain are Sarrin de Thryos and Terensha de Sanna, both sourced from the Mediterranean.

A general guideline to follow does help immensely, thank you.

Behind the Name is a godsend, as are most of the baby name/name gen sites.

I tend to do names that have thematic alignment with the character. Usually first and last linking together. Case in point: Aislinn O'Meara (as if I haven't blabbed about her enough already, but she's my sole example  :p ). Her first name means (in the context I'm using) "dream, vision" and her last name is actually of dubious meaning, tracing back either to "O Meadrha" into the Gaelic word "meadhar" which means "merry, happy," OR it can trace back in English origin to "O(f) Mara" or "descendant of Mara." Mara means "bitter."

So you can view the name in a poetic/romantic fashion as meaning "dream/vision of happiness" or "dream/vision of bitterness." Both are equally valid given the murky history of Gaelic and English integration.

Do I put too much thought into character names?

There's no such thing as "too much thought."

Except there totally is, overthinking is bad.

Oh no by all means.~ For my part though I just picked a mediterranean baby name I liked the sound of and milled syllables in my noggin until I found a combination that struck a chord. Not particularly elegant I'll admit but eh. *shrugs*

Lenore di Serna
Lemme know if that's acceptable or if it needs changing. @Savin In the meantime though I'll spend another hour making my Gdoc presentable and maybe link it tomorrow.~

B-but, their four reptilian wings can barely support their weight in short bursts as it is. (In terran gravity or more) Fae wings won't cut it. xD

Who needs to fly when you have Space-Ships for sale for low prices such as 9,99.99 credits?

Supplement it with psionics. Telekinetic lift could make up for the difference in support.

Come to think of it... with her erogenous feet, minding the shop is probably gonna keep her perpetually aroused if she has to trot around on the ground.
