I had not been told that before. I will course correct in the future.

in short: if you copy/paste the exact incorrect text (and some extra in the event its a parser or something thats spliced together or just to narrow the search a bit), someone on the team can then immediately copy/paste that same exact thing and Ctrl+F without worrying about retyping the exact incorrect thing. this is especially helpful in the event that there's a backlog of typos, i wouldn't want to manually be typing a large number of phrases to find and fix
