Originally I had sought to make a rigid turn-based business simulator that focused on the adult industry. I was going to include everything you'd expect from any other tycoon game but with the ability to sell-out and start again. I was going to have A.I generated performers and personalities with custom product development complete with video formats from VHS to VR and beyond.

But then I added goblins, clowns, guns, LSD-laced soda, aliens, meteors...mutated cats. And damn was that more fun. But things got a LOT harder. I went real-time, let the player get some fresh air every now and then. I wrote an engine to support a city, more areas, more interaction. Then scaled it all back again when shit got too unruly So far the result is that things don't exactly look as they seem on the surface. Welcome to...

Having strong kegels is a performer trait, a long tongue is considered macroglossia and can be a good time for someone on the receiving end. The bottom line is, I had a lot of fun working on this. But not a lot of money. And it really sucks! So here I am again (I've been here before) but with more to show for the absolutely slow, excruciatingly painful 3+ years I've been developing this game in my spare time under a company named after a type of restroom.

It's hard explaining to people how it takes time developing a mechanic that allows you to decide whether or not a career in voyeur clown porn is right for you. And then having to cut it at the last minute because your clown assets are too limited to make assets with. Who knew it'd be such a tough racket. But I guess it's not all bad on a good day! And at least my mother doesn't know yet.

But anyway, I'm going to keep working on the damn thing until shit hits the fan and I have to stop. But until then, if you'd like to know more about the project feel free to hop on over to www.triplextycoon.com for those extra details. Or if you'd prefer to cuss me out, just direct your filthy mouth to the janitor@joy-toilet.com and I will get back to you.

I'll be doing things a lot differently than I have been very soon, beginning with daily updates on the website as soon as I can rest long enough to continue functioning over the next few days. Just a small break!

But if you're interested in playing but understand that this thing still isn't done yet. You'll find what you need to help this thing stay on the rails below. Many thanks for the interest so far!

Spread the love.

The game has its cool style and potential. But the engine is still super buggy and almost unplayable (just as 1 or 2 years ago when I first tried it). You need an UI designer and a tester.
On HighDPI wide monitor it doesn't scale well, very little window in the window mode, very wrong proportions in full screen.

It's a real problem. The engine is actually old and based on a game that ran in a bash console at the same resolution. Originally completely devoid of graphics support! So I find that full screen varies, it really just depends on the monitor right now even running on a software surface under the hood. I'd love to bring on more people but it's become a long-term part time project with no sign of turning the corner again at full speed any time soon. Although to get it this far I went full-time for a few months, I'm hoping that maybe I can sustain the project at that level again regardless.

Horrible experience! Working on it. Thanks for the feedback!

Looks interesting , will try it out and then give a review.

Lots to do still!

"The engine is actually old and based on a game that ran in a bash console" - then why are you still using this engine? Is it not a dead end?

It's been heavily modified but the time needed to do a rewrite far exceeded the time frame and resources available to me. The upside is that it allows a lot more control over the lower layers. That kind of control is what ultimately allows the engine to work with no loading screens or save game conflicts when releasing newer versions. Sorry about the late response! It's been quite the hell between coding and keeping up with all the responses.

v2.5b is now available.

Is there no free demo?

Likely around v2.6. Right now it would actually slow down development. But things will even out to allow it sooner than later.
