Thinking of starting a new RP.

So, I've had this idea knocking around in my head for an RP set in the TiTS universe. Now we all know the exploits of Steele, and the other adventurers out there. But, what about the little guys? The John and Jane Does who populate the galaxy around them. Basically, it would be an RP about what happens when ordinary people are pun in extraordinary situations. Specifically, getting entangled in the galaxy-spanning hyper-porn industry.
Don't worry, the RP won't be just a constant stream of sex scenes, though there will be plenty of them. The characters will discover that being a hyper-pornstar is a lot more involved than they might first have thought. They will navigate sets, co-workers relations, and even the dark underbelly of the business.

Anyone who is interested in playing, feel free to toss out character ideas. All races, genders, and orientations are welcome. Give special attention to the occupation your character held before getting caught up in the business. Remember, the emphasis is on ordinary citizens, so things like mercenaries, and outlaw techies are a no go, but law enforcers, and researchers are fine.

I'd be up for the thing. I've been trying to get myself some stuff to do between writing to help my creative juices get a bit more diverse. That said; I'd... probably make a human male. Not a trap (since I make so many of those) but just a regular dude. The one thing I'd probably do is have it so that he actually has the genes to allow/facilitate multiple limbs (IE Arms) so he can start as an engineer that has some robo third-arm for helping him handle things with more precision. I imagine having a third arm might make him popular... and I don't mean the sexual kind.

Admittedly, I'm also hoping it's not JUST the hyper-pornstar angle and that the PC can end up doing more within the industry/slipping into "satellite jobs"; like becoming a manager or someone who helps fuel it with new prospects. The angle definitely interests me so long as it isn't a guaranteed "fix".

These sound fine so far. As I said in the initial post, the porn-star hook is just that, a hook. There will be other things going on in the RP, and your characters will have opportunities to make things happen in the world around them. Also, if you want to play characters with body mods that's perfectly fine; this is set in the TiTS universe after all. If you want to play these characters, just go ahead and post some descriptions, and backstories. I figure we'll start the game once we have three or four people, or after a few days pass with no one else showing interest; whichever comes first.

On a side note; would people prefer that this be completely free form, or would they like a simple game mechanic to keep things interesting?

I don’t mind a system but only if it’s weighted or allows it to be bypassed if it’s used on something REALLY critical. Or maybe better put, if there’s a moment that freeform might be better we can swap to it. Dice/a system can add randomness but I’d personally not enjoy having everything left up to them.

Name: Delia Brass

Race: Griffon-morph (formerly Kaithrit)

Appearance: Delia is of average height, at 5ft and 7inches. She has has dark blue feathers, with a white underbelly and light blue markings. She has a rather feminine, beaked face, with pale, icy blue eyes. Her arms are bird like, and she has wings in her back, a long, furry tail with feathers on the end, and cat like legs and paws. Managing to keep her assets, even after the avian Tfs, she has a nice pair of large DD cup beasts, and a curvy, gropable ass. She often uses mighty tight, keeping her well used slit nice and tight. Personality: Umi is a reserved and quiet girl mostly wanting to be left to her own devises. She can seem a bit cold at times when in actuality she just has trouble opening up and trusting people. She does however, have a very courageous heart always willing to stand up for others. once you earn her trust, she will stick with you to the bitter end. Because of her 'uplifted' upbringing she acts nothing like a normal Zil, being nowhere near as sexuality aggressive as the rest of her race. in fact she is very selective about sex in general she has to be very comfortable with you before can get anywhere with her consensually. she doesn't like talking about her own race very much its a touchy subject to her. as they are seen as being very overtly sexual and will fuck just about everything. That's not how she wants to be seen. she quite observant, being an artist means she can see things from a different perspective then most. Her artwork is usually of landscapes both real and imagined.


Appearance: like most zil she is mostly yellow and black with floppy antennae, a wasp like abdomen a with stinger and black yellow chitin on parts of her body. she keeps her black "hair" tied up in a ponytail with a blue ribbon (that she is very protective of). She is around 5'6 or 5'5 around normal height for a zil. Her body is over all nice and curvy in a kind of hourglass figure, having wide shapely hips and nice pair of soft C-cup breasts. her face is rather young looking, having big adorable eyes and no real hard edges. Her black eyes have the rare golden irises making her eye movements more visible. she also has a cap that she keeps on her stinger so she doesn't accidentally sting someone with her lust venom.


History: the exact circumstances of how Umi was taken from Mhen'ga are sketchy, but far as she has been able to piece together, she was the daughter of a Zil slave that was abandoned to the streets of some backwater world. she was picked up and taken into an orphanage by a kindly soul where was quickly adopted by a human couple. she was then taken to a colony world where she grew up around mostly humans and ausar. she was treated well for the most part but when the colony grew so to did the number of people that discriminated against her. This left some mental scarring on her when she came of age, leaving her very hesitant about meeting new people. It was very hard for her to find a good job with many people telling her she'd be better of just selling her sex, but she was determined not to end up that way. during her childhood she found that she was actually quite good at painting and drawing so she decided to try and make that her full time job. It was working out for the most part, her being of the few uplifted zil artists. Her work is somewhat valuable simply due the rare circumstances surrounding it.

Description: A lithe, almost androgynous lad standing at 5'9 stands with a hand on his hip; Aegis keeps his fiery red hair tucked into a tight ponytail that reaches to his shoulders. Pale skinned with light freckling on his cheeks help to ensure his blue eyes stand out dramatically. His normal attire - a set of black coveralls - generally hides his grabbable hips and almost girly butt and almost entirely conceal a foot-long human bulger. Grafted to his spine, however, the human has something that helps him stand out; a mechanical servo-arm fitted with a four-fingered grasping hand with a central connecting port to allow mounting tools or linking up to consoles. Noticeably, one can identify the Pyrite Heavy Industries logo is painted over the fingers so that when collapsed together one can read the corporate logo. As one might expect, all of his bits are distinctly human. A virgin-tight sphincter sits between his cheeks, the right one bearing a corporate-style barcode ID tattoo'd just above his tailbone akin to tramp stamps.
