The Syren Conspiracy (For Floozer)

[Archangel99]

"That's... Exactly where the problem lies. We're not sure if his mind is even in one piece right now..." Brynn murmurs. "Actually, Olivia, that was just the Supersoldier serum in his blood. Basically, he's going to be running on the same thing he was, so... No. It doesn't really make much of a difference." She says. 

 

[Floozer]

"So it is all just shit then? That is what you are telling me?" She sighs and slumps onto the floor "Come on big guy... wake up already. I am done hanging in the air like this... we all are..."

 

[Archangel99]

Alex lays still, his eyes still closed, even though she can see the rise and fall of his chest. He's alive, yes, but maybe he just needed time to rest? He did, after all, undergo a dangerous operation in which his brain was transferred to an entirely new body. Brynn brings three chairs over, and they all sit around Alex, Pyro on the right, with Brynn and Olivia on the left. Brynn takes Alex's hand and grips it tightly, silently praying for him to wake up. Pyro does the same with his other hand. 


[School. Bye!]

 

[Floozer]

Olivia sits there and slowly rubs a hand on his chest while her other hand sits atop Brynn's. She has no prayers to say, not the religious type, but she gives him all her hope and well wishes that she can muster. 

 

[Archangel99]

They sit there for hours on end, and they all finally doze off. They are suddenly woken by a groan as Alex shifts and tries to sit up. Pyro is immediately up, pressing her hand down on Alex's chest. "No. Lie down. You're still weak." She murmurs. "Where...?" He groans. "You're at the base. Back home. Brynn is here, and Olivia too. God, Alex, we've been so worried!" She says, almost crying, her eyes wet. Alex glances at her, frowns, then looks at Brynn and Olivia in turn, still frowning. Then, Olivia hears the worst words she has ever heard in her lifetime. 


"Who...? Who are you people?" He says nervously. 

 

[Floozer]

Her heart shrivels like a prune as she hears those horrible horrible words. She chokes on her own spit and has to cough a few times before giving him a strained smile. "Alex... big guy, come on, this isn't funny. We have all been really worried about you..." 

 

[Archangel99]

He blinks a few times. "Er... Much as I'd like to say I know a girl as pretty as you are... I'm sorry, but I don't. Although..." He frowns at her a little, like as if he's trying to remember something. Something important. "I... Know you... But I don't... What happened?" He says slowly. 

 

[Floozer]

"Alex... it's me, Olivia! Come on, you have to remember that! We were on the base... you were hurt really badly... please you have to remember. What about Brynn, your sister? Or Pyro?" 

 

[Archangel99]

Hr looks at Brynn. "I... Remember her." Then he looks at Pyro. "You too..." Then he looks at her. "But you... There's something telling me that I should know who you are, but... I don't. And what is this base you keep talking about? I don't remember any of that. What happened?" He asks. It seemed only his recent memories had been affected. Then, he looks over at the other body. "Wait a minute... Is that... Me?" He asks, before looking down at himself. "Okay I'm pretty sure I wasn't born a fucking lizard man if my sister is a Sarian..." He mutters. Apparently his personality is still intact. 

 

[Floozer]

Olivia's heart shatters as her entire role in his life was just whisked away as if nothing happened. "The base... resistance HQ. Your under water base was nuked and we had to retreat here. Cinnara is a traitor so we had to go and hunt her down. You, Brynn, Pyro and I were all on a mission against OT. At the end... Cinnara pinned you with an electrical node and it fried you pretty badly. This body, this lizard man, is Carvers back up body for you. Your cybernetic make up allowed for a brain transplant to even be possible." She takes a moment to breath before nodding at his old body "That is yoru sarian body. It is far too damaged to support life right now... but Carver is resting, so you are stuck like this for a while."


She stops to stare at him for just a moment. "I am...I was your girlfriend. It happened fairly quickly but love often throws people through hoops any way. But it looks like your recent memory has been shattered..." She grits her teeth and stops talking, tears prying and her eyes as she looks away. 

 

[Archangel99]

He listens to her words with growing shock in his eyes. When she turns away, however, she feels a rough, scaled hand on hers after a moment. "Hey... I must have been pretty awesome to get a girl like you..." He murmurs, smiling slightly. Brynn and Pyro look at each other, then at Olivia, unsure of what to do or say. "I.. think we need to leave them alone..." Brynn murmurs, taking Pyro's hand, giving Alex a long kiss on the forehead, murmuring something into his ear, and walking out with Pyro, who keeps looking back over her shoulder, in tow, leaving the two of them alone. Alex stares at Olivia, his hand squeezing hers slightly. "I want to remember... I really do..." He murmurs. 

 

[Floozer]

She blinks away the tears and looks up at him "We didn't get along at first. I didn't like you were so superior to everyone and you didn't like how I stood up to you. You were prone to mood swings and violent rages, something that everyone was just trying to sweep under the rug because they needed you on the active roster... but I wouldn't let them. I stood up to you, I stood up to Brynn as well while forcing her to look at the truth behind all of this.... that you were a time bomb just waiting to go off." 


She pauses to let that sink in. "But you saw reason... you saw that my words were right and made Brynn see it as well. We started to get along after that, talking about possible fixes for your mind and teasing Brynn to no end. Things got passionate as we both have libido's like no one would believe and we quickly became fuck buddies. I don't know what caused it... but while you are with me, the mood swings stopped... like I was an anchor for your mind to focus on...." 

 

[Archangel99]

His gaze softens and he smiles. "Wow. I'm a piece of work, huh?" With a groan, he slowly sits up, still unused to the body, before spreading his arms. "Maybe give me a hug? I figure if we've already fucked like rabbits, it doesn't really matter." He murmurs. He suddenly frowns. "Wait a second." She hears clicking as he starts going through... Something. She can see his eyebrows going higher and higher, his smile growing wider, as he watches whatever he's watching. "So... I made you dress up as a maid, after which I fucked you silly? Yeah that's definitely something I'd do." He says, chuckling. She hears more clicking. "Oh dear lord I fucked my sister!? Oh... Okay she looks kinda hot naked..." He mutters. More clicking... "Hmm... I seem to like spanking your ass..." He murmurs. More clicking. Silence. "We... Danced to a slow song? On your ship?" He says, smiling. 


Thank God for video recording. 

 

[Floozer]

"Wait... you recorded all of that?!" Her smile threatens to break her face in half before it suddenly falls into a frown "I told you NOT to record the bit witht he maid outfit you nark! Geeze, if you weren't recovering I would slap you silly!" Instead, she pushes into him with a big hug "...I will let you go this time big guy... only this time..."

 

[Archangel99]

He laughs softly and hugs her back, stroking her hair. "Olivia...  I still don't completely remember everything, but... This is a start..." He murmurs, smiling and squeezing her a little harder. 

 

[Floozer]

"Gah! Easy big guy... you are a lot stronger than you know you are. Don't break me now." She chuckles and mushes back from her. "It is a start... I can only hope those feelings are the same, even if the memories are shattered." 

 

[Archangel99]

"Well..." He looks her over. "I'm sure they still are. I already feel like jumping you and hugging you forever." He says, grinning, before his face suddenly sombers. "Hmm... Sounds kinda awkward... I barely know you but want to hug you anyway. Gah. I probably sound like a creep." He mutters, hanging his head. 

 

[Floozer]

She reaches over and lifts his chin "You don't know me... but I still remember you. Hugging me forever is exactly what you would be doing if all this hadn't happened and we both walked away without harm. So why don't you stop worrying and just do it?" 

 

[Archangel99]

He blinks at her for a few seconds before slowly reaching up and pulling her down onto the bed on top of him, just hugging her close. "You... Feel so familiar... So perfect..." He murmurs. 

 

[Floozer]

She laughs and gives him a cheeky grin "Well i don't want to toot my own horn but I am pretty perfect. You would go on and on about how great I am and how I should be the queen of the universe!" 

 

[Archangel99]

"I would? Really?" He's quiet for a minute. "You're fucking around with me. I would never say something like that." He says in a deadpan voice, with an undercurrent of laughter. 

 

[Floozer]

"Hey, you can't blame me for trying! A bit of worship here and there wouldn't hurt now would it?" She laughs and plants a kiss on his new lizard nose "I see your bull shit sensors are still working strong, that is good." 

 

[Archangel99]

He grins. "Everything seems to be working just fine except my head." He says, looking into her eyes. She notices his eyes are a deep purple now, with emerald green pupils and light blue sclera. 

 

[Floozer]

"Wow... you have really colorful eyes like this. I am rather curious as to what Carver's inspiration was for this body... but I can ask him about that later." She rests he cheek against his chest. "I am rather conflicted right now. I am happy that you seem to be remembering, but sad that not everything is there any more..."

 

[Archangel99]

"I... Kinda feel the same... Hey, did I have a nickname for you?" He asks. 

 

[Floozer]

"Liv, you started calling me Liv about two days ago. Not entirely sure why but it seemed to make you happy so I just let it go. Doesn't really bother me any way. I just like to call you big guy." 

 

[Archangel99]

"Liv. Liv... Yeah that sounds alright..." He says her name slowly, turning the unfamiliar words over on his tongue. Then he looks down at her with an eyebrow raised. "Big guy...?" He shrugs. "Well, I suppose that's accurate..." He murmurs, smiling. 

 

[Floozer]

"It is also very easy to say. then again... so is Alex. Meh, whatever." She sighs and just looks at him for a bit. "Glad to have you back big guy..." 

 

[Archangel99]

"I'm not sure I'm completely... 'Back' just yet... I still feel like a part of me is missing..." He says. 

 

[Floozer]

"Well, I would rather have a scattered Alex than no Alex at all... and that was my greatest fear just hours ago..."
