"Most probably. So if you believe it will save your father and brother, why not change it?" He says, shrugging. "You'd certainly get a bit more respect in my eyes."
"That is something you must decide for yourself. If you want my personal advice... Change it. If your father and brother are too weak to defend themselves from people from other galaxies targeting you, then it would be safest to let go of them." He murmurs.
He sighs. "Look. Do what you think is best. Everything else will sort itself into place." He says.
There's a rumble, and a few tentacles snake down from the ceiling to rub against her as a sort of greeting.
The ship rumbles again, and the tentacles coil around her like a warm blanket, wrapping her up comfortably tight within their coils.
She snuggles up inside of the tentacles and does what she does best... talk. "So as you know we assaulted that base and cut the head off of OT. Brynn and I got our revenge and now it is all about repairing the damage they have done. My family was torn about because of all this... OT hunted them down, stole my father and brother while killing my mother. They did all of this cause they have my information. So now I am considering changing my last name adn wiping myself from galactic records so if/when I make another enemy, looking me up will simply get you my picture and a name, no other lines. This choice has upset my lover Brynn while my friend Skull says it is a good idea and now I am completely torn."
She lets out a deep breath as she ranted that whole thing off in one go "So yea, now I am just confused. I know I shouldn't sherk my family, but they are broken and suffering because of me... I doubt they would even want to be around me after all of this and I don't blame them. Maybe it is for the best... but for some reason I just can't bring myself to do it. Why? I don't really know why. Might be that I cling to my sense of self? I am Olivia Quilaan after all, that is how I was born and changing it for fear of what others do with that information is a bit of a pisser."
"What does my gut tell me?" She wonders out loud in response "That... is a really good question actually big guy. I think my gut is telling me to fuck whoever tries to wrong me and keep my own name. Which I suppose makes the most sense... why should I let other people decide my actions right?"
There is a pleased rumble from the ship, as if Goliath is chuckling. That pretty much answers her question
"Hmm... maybe it is time to ask the man up top again? I mean, he has already given me so much... I wouldn't be surprised if he just said no but perhaps he can lend some sort of protection over them. Or I could just find a safe place for my family to live... Oh, like my house on Hamina! If they move there without any official records they should be off the radar right?"
Goliath seems to be excited at her second option, rumbling loudly, as if in agreement.

"Yea! that should totally work! Then if people try to track my family they will get a big old blank... and the house isn't under my name so they won't get the purchase either!" She grins happily, kissing the nearest tentacle "Thanks big guy, you are a great listener!"
Goliath rumbles happily, the squirming tentacles wriggling with the same. He was clearly a sucker for flattery. Especially when it came from sexy Laamin/Demon hybrids.
He rumbles sadly, but lets her go, his tentacles loosening and letting her stand, though not without a few parting gropes.
