The Syncharion Ascendance RP (Floozer, Khorne)

[Keelat]

"Oh well that isn't creepy or anything!" Melkor says laughing a bit to himself before stopping abruptly "No but that is strange I guess that's there way of keeping an eye on us...literally...never understood why though.." Melkor pondered as he walked before shrugging he had his own theories but most of them were just theories he spouted when he was drunk wayy back so they all sounded quite dumb now that he looked back which made him cringe now.

 

[Archangel99]

"Well, not like they care, anyway. They just spread word about any notable deeds." She says, shrugging.
They eventually come to a shop that seems to be advertising the sale of spells. Rikaria walks right in without any reservations, and starts to the succubus behind the counter. Then, she slaps 100 Cs onto the counter and comes back with a scroll, which she tosses to Melkor. "Here ya go. Memorise that." She says, nodding to the scroll.

 

[Keelat]

"Alright then.." Melkor says taking a look at the scroll mouthing the wording of the spell silently as he studied it.
(Dunno if there is anything required to just memorize the spell)

 

[Archangel99]

[There isn't. ]

Once he's memorised the spell, Rikaria takes it from him and after she learns it, she burns it by lighting her hand on fire.
Then they had back to the Aquila portal, where the Gatewatcher nods at them. He waves his hand at Rikaria, and as she said, a faint outline of an open eye appears on her throat. "You are free to go now. Good luck." He says, waving them off.

[Aaaand I'm off.]

 

[Keelat]

"Yep.." Melkor says as he passes through the portal half expecting to be immediately in water "Jeez I really not looking forward to this.." Melkor groans as they begin transferring.

[Slemmandre]

[Ah damn. I'd rather not accidentally turn any of these Lizans to ash, but I'll edit the post and say I threw a fireball.]

 

[Archangel99]

The Lizan yelps and ducks, the fireball flying harmlessly over his head. He immediately starts running towards Klaus, firing a few arrows at him. The female gets herself together and joins the chase as well, snarling as she follows the male. An arrow hits Klaus, but bounces off thanks to his armour.

They step out onto a tiny island, barely large enough for four people to stand on. All around them is water, water, and more bright blue, clean water. "Well... Welcome to Aquila. Time to go for a swim." Rikaria says, casting the spell on herself before taking a dive into the water.

 

[Slemmandre]

Silently giving thanks to the Ultima man's fine handiwork, Klaus sets up an illusion of himself, running in the opposite direction of the dazed-looking copy, and hoping to hide himself deeper in the thick of the forest. He's still close to the clearing, staying in the ring of trees around the open space as he hushes up, trying to get the Lizans to lose his presence and rough up the illusion instead.

 

[Archangel99]

The Lizans jerk to a stop when the illusion runs past and almost run after it, but stop to sniff the air. Then, with a growl, they turn and start tracking him by scent alone.

 

[Slemmandre]

This isn't too unexpected, and by now, Klaus has a shred of a plan in mind as he carefully sneaks further away from the two, prioritizing on distance over fear of getting caught as he speaks up. "The fellow in the middle. He's dead now, charred to ash. The same will happen to you two, as well as half of this forest, if you don't submit now."

 

[Archangel99]

[He's dead. You blew out half his back, including vitals. He's dead.]

 

[Slemmandre]

[Oh... well fuck. Guess I should edit my post then?]

 

[Archangel99]

[Yep.]

 

[Archangel99]

"We'd rather die than submit!" The male growls, loosing arrows at Klaus while the female runs at him, teeth and claws bared.

 

[Slemmandre]

"And doom your beloved forest, too?" Klaus says, almost sad as he throws a fireball just in front of the female, dipping back behind more trees in an attempt to shelter himself from the arrow onslaught.

 

[Archangel99]

They stop and look at each other. The male slowly lowers his bow while the female slinks behind him. "Come out now, and we maybe no kill you." The male growls.

 

[Slemmandre]

"Take your bow, and throw it into the clearing." Klaus instructs, the glow of fire still present on his palm.

 

[Archangel99]

"No. Me no trust you." He growls back. The female hisses in agreement. "You destroy forest, Naakir (Naga) come. Or Marrok (basilisk).You die." The male continues.

 

[Slemmandre]

"That doesn't make the forest any less destroyed." Klaus shoots back, before trying again. "Your arrows then, take half of them, and throw them into the clearing as a sign that you're willing to listen."

 

[Archangel99]

He reaches back and takes out six arrows before throwing them away.

 

[Slemmandre]

Klaus steps out, revealing himself to the two Lizans, and letting the fire in his hands fizzle out. Despite this, he's wary, and unsure of what the Lizans plan on negotiating. "So?" He asks.

 

[Archangel99]

"So? So what? Why you attack us?" The male growls, the arrow still nocked to his bow, but not drawn.

 

[Slemmandre]

Klaus tries to think of something clever, ultimately coming up empty, but starting with a lie anyways. "I was hired to find, and then either capture or kill a group of three Lizans spotted around this area. I take it you're more fond of the former option?"

 

[Archangel99]

The female Lizan hisses. "He lies! Why would one of our own tribe kill hunter-gatherers!?" She snarls at Klaus. The male nods. "You have one more chance. You lie again, I kill you." He says, his eyes cold.

 

[Slemmandre]

"He is not from your tribe. He's from another realm. Thankfully, I'm not loyal to him. I wanted to grant you all safety, hidden with me, though it was clear you wouldn't come peacefully. Not that I could blame you there. Unfortunately..." He gestures to the crispy Lizan in the clearing. "I don't quite know my own strength."

 

[Archangel99]

[I feel bad for laughing at "Crispy Lizan" XD]

"He lies again! No outsiders come into our realm! Kill him!" The female snarls.
"Wait... The Benakal have been coming in once in a while. Perhaps...?" The male raises an eyebrow.
"The last one was over three months ago! He lies! He wants to enslave us!" The female hisses. The male looks at him with narrowed eyes and draws his bow, aiming right at his head. "One more chance."

[Just so you know, if you die, you have to start all over again.]

 

[Floozer]

With a roll of her eyes she keeps walking toward the arena "Yea... her first movement in years and it is something she doesn't have to do much with. People will flock here regardless of her presence."

 

[Slemmandre]

"If you could stop pointing that arrow at me, I could explain myself a bit better." Klaus says, putting his hands over his face, fireball bared in warning. "You're not going to like the full truth. I've been honest thus far, but I've been leaving out details, too. If I tell you, you have to promise not to shoot me, alright?"

 

[Archangel99]

"Well if it goes by the rules of ancient Rome, minus the blood and gore, she'll have to be present at every event." Khorvis says, shrugging.

 

[Archangel99]

"Fine. Speak!" The male growls.
