With a brief battle of will, Klaus throws himself out of bed and stands, untangling himself from Melly's limbs as he does so, before stretching and popping the joints in his shoulders. He isn't much of a morning person, especially not today, given the dull ache in his side, but the looming task he has at noon grants him enough motivation to wake up and stay up. Tentatively, he looks down at his injury, hoping that it wouldn't be too much of an issue still if he were to up and leave.
