Klaus bides his time in search of a packed, but not completely full car on its way to the city. If he can find a lax bunch of friends, perhaps driving home and hungover the morning after a party, then they'll be his ideal targets. Not to mention, he assumes that a drunken group, save for the one behind the wheel, will be more likely to pick he and Richie up as hitchhikers, and be easier to catch. Then again, this is awfully specific. He'll settle for less, but he's willing to spend about five minutes waiting.
