Klaus revs himself up for showtime, putting on his most powerful, disdainful expression possible with the glimmer of a dangerous glare in his eyes. As he storms up behind Richie, he raises a trio of illusions, all portraying the towering forms of demons closing in, and hoping to trap him from all sides. Finally, Klaus speaks, deep and foreboding. "Dear Richie, did you not see the fire that I cast with the slight of my own hand? It does not matter if you've signed up for this or not. I hold a power far beyond anything you can comprehend, and I've chosen to belittle myself by requesting of you a favor. In truth, you've angered me. I require your help no longer, but I'm willing to spare you, empower you even, and raise you to something more than this worthless life. Your choices are simple: you may submit to me now, see a world you've never known and live a life far more fulfilling, or you may perish, dead in the woods, and surely devoured by the beasts in the basement."
