Ok, I know these conversation battles are new and people like them, but I absolutely suck at them. I can't for the life of me manage to win the damn batte against Nareva. So..... Anyone be so kind as to send me a cheat sheet or something? Along with the Sander Quest puzzle chest answer? Also how the heck does one do the whole dream ring thing?

Please help. I'm just a poor bastard unable to comprehend such things XD

In regards to the Dream Rings: I've heard you have to investigate a noise near Hawkthorne's Eastern gate. Supposedly the event occurs during the night, but it hasn't triggered for me.

Dream rings triggers if you have had 5 dreams.
Managed to get the rings, thanks to the both of you! Just go to the east gate at night, 11-12 in the night, then just go back and forth between the gate and the next space until event trigger.
Now I only need help with the Nareva conversation battle and that puzzle chest.

If I recall correctly, the 'soldiers' in question are physical objects, but don't resemble soldiers in any way.
Flashing, booming, a dark sky and a one-way journey....

for Nareva, generally, question, till you've received important clues, before you inquire; don't bother trying to insult her or whatever; keep quiet if the other responses don't look like they lead anywhere, or she's already giving you the information you're after.

I am absolutely amused by the number of people who will do this through sheer trial and error instead of thinking through the dialogue. That's the fourth person I know of so far who has brute-forced this.

I don't know if that's quite fair. Having gone through this tedious debate myself and come out the other side, it's clear that this is meant to force one to give up to escape the tedium of trying to wade through Nareva's bog of pedantic language and purposely long-winded tirades. "Brute-forcing", as you call it, is a lot less grating on the brain than attempting to actually understand what is clearly not meant to be understood.

Unless, I suppose, you're like me with unlimited time and patience.

That being said, I'm thinking of going back and marking down the path I took through her intellectual swamp and will post it here, if that's permissible?

I'll admit I cheated and looked up the answers for Nareva's debate, but mostly because I didn't want to slow down and solve it by making my own notes.

doesnt seem fair to label content in this manner because the dev spent a lot of time writing, coding, and working it in so trying to state thier purpose as what you said seems....hurtful.

Being the devils advocate here for a second, just because someone took a lot of time writing, coding and working on something, does not mean it's good.

I haven't played through this section myself so I have no idea if it actually is (I assume it is good until otherwise proven), but it's definetly possible that the devs spent a lot of time making this work without successfully making it good.

Oh, I'm saying nothing of the quality of the writing...this sort of attention to world-building and emphasis on problem-solving is what puts Fenoxo and co's work above others... not to mention that the sense of satisfaction you get from dismantling Nareva's arguments is greater than any sexual enjoyment I've gotten out of this game ;P

But, like, it's still quite obviously designed to be thought through. It was written in such a way so as to require patience and mental fortitude to correctly solve it, and I'm saying it's unsurprising that some people don't really want to put that much thought into a NSFW game.

it is quite good I assure you, just takes a bit of time and A LOT of notes (seriously, it's next to impossible to remember every clue out of your head alone). still, it's pretty gratifying to win the argument (and the lore and rewards are a pretty good bonus)

Keros is quite approving if you can pull it off.

He'll still kill you if you reveal what you learn, but that's business.

that's... about what I expected from him. Haven't seen his content yet, seeing as I'm trying to get Kiyoko to 9 tails (and waiting for her post-release content to drop) before freeing her, so for now my mental image of him is stressed Nick Wilde.
