Just got the below talk from Gweyr in the Frost Hound. I was aware of Solveig, but do we know who the love potion story relates to?

In his defence, he recognised what he was planning to do to Gweyr was unacceptable, and tried to back out before it was too late. If he hadn't been dealing with the Wicked Witch of the North, nothing would have come of it. And when all was said and done, he came clean to his wife.

Maybe I am injecting little to much of myself into this scenario, but I would be more than little disgusted if a guy confessed to me "hey, I thought of rufying/enslaving you."

Like, I understand that he had a change of heart and how current Garth is a good boy and a father but... yuck. It would make me feel sick.

Gweyr is a more forgiving person than I.

Seriously, most of men in CoC2 can barely pass a bare minimum for a husband.

Edit: I am being little to harsh on Garth since rape/infidelity/absent fathers are common place in this game. I just expected more from him, that's all.

Maybe I'm being too generous to him. Sometimes in life, the best you can hope for is to realise you're about to fuck up before it's too late.

Oh, it is fine. It all depends on individual. We all though of doing some criminal things once, and as long as we do not comit to them, it should be fine. It is just I expected better from Garth.

It looks like Taldahs is only semi decent DILF.

I think you may have misread: The love potion was post-banishment, an attempt to convince her to come home. While obviously still not a great vibe (which he realized, since he backed out of it), giving a love potion to someone who already demonstrably loves you is a lot less skeevy than doing it to your crush.

He is enjoying his "punishment" -- I wouldn't call it punishment.

Honestly, not a fun topic discuss! I kind of dislike Garth now. His whole family now that I think about it.
i dont think gweyr deserves dislike, or am i forgetting something? aside from the village slaughter which was bad but in the large scheme of thing, it did drive the cult away
