Yep, once I got past that first bit and realized it was just a setup for the main story, I figured that out. In fact, I thought it rather clever how you did that. Truth be told, I'm glad the story line turned out the way it did because the Chosen One was such an asshole (in both incarnations) I was actually glad not to be playing him anymore!The prologue is satirical and contains art in a different style than the entire rest of the game. Patreon and public versions are identical except for patrons getting to play first.
Eh, comes with getting old, I suppose. I did notice elsewhere I was having trouble distinguishing grayed out options. I might try playing with the color balance a bit.I'm sorry to hear you had that difficulty. Your selected option isn't actually bold, it's white instead of grayed out.
Overall, though, I'm really enjoying the game. The story line is very intriguing. I'm playing more to find out what happens next than anything else.
