I don't think they will enforce it, seeing as removing something like that from a game that is known for it for so long would be stupid, they care more about money than their beliefs.
Specially since the reason they do these stuff is similar to the reason que Qataris go around buying sports teams and whatever, the difference is that Qatar does sportswashing, while the Saudis have been doing a huge "esportswashing" by buying studios & esports platforms while trying to make Saudi Arabia a major hub in the gaming industry. This is all part of "Vision 2030", nothing conspirational about it, just search it yourself.
Not a TLDR: They are a bunch of cunts, but i doubt they will remove stuff like same-sex relationships and stuff, seeing as buying a western studio that probably have a huge percentage of their playerbase being from "western" countries or places that this kind of stuff is pretty normal and just removing it would (probably) backfire and make them look like a pretty backyard place. But who knows, we are living in the 1920's volume 2 after all, strange times.
Also no, i don't think people are rioting in Saudi Arabia, the Saud family literally owns the country, doing something like that would just be putting a target on your back and making sure you'll be found in various pieces across the country. I think you got the country mixed with some other place probably.
