So I know you can use the thermal jacket or the warm belts that replace your shield.

But is their anyway for me to keep my armour and shield? I tried becoming a Huskar (I had been a half-ausar before) but even then I still take slight damage from the cold.

Thermal Packs from Tlako's basket thingies. Or just use the Hirudo Devourer on a Ranged build. Or use Merc's Second Wind near the end of every fight, even if that means round 1.

Frostfire and New Ewe have associated perks that provide cold immunity (that require certain body parts to remain active)
Certain underwear, most notably the thermal briefs and down bra, provide cold resistance that can boost you above the damage threshold
The Traveler's cloak for sale in Awoo provides a large amount of cold resistance from accessory slot

Depends on your class.
My Merc wears the Frostbane Mail and the Myr Greatcoat, giving him 33 and 35 Freezing Resistance respectively. Which makes me immune to the constant damage from travelling on the surface and gives me 68 resistance in combat.

Thermal packs from Tlako are the best way to keep warm imo.

I kinda wish there was a St. Bernard drone doggo that supplies you with hot chocolate, defeating the cold.

Thermal packs are the best, they last a full 24 hours, more than enough time to be hanging in the cold, and all you need to do is use it from your inventory.

You need the icy veins perk from Foxo fire, but be ready to be Floof ball

As stated, Frostfire and New Ewe have associated perks for cold resistance.
New Ewe's affects character description, if that means anything to you.

Also, keep in mind some features can make it harder to survive Uveto.
Chitin, scales, goo, or latex skin increase damage taken.

As long as your total cold resistance is 50% or higher, you take no environmental damage.
If it's below that, you may be affected the further out you are.
