[Suggestion] Open-source?

I've noticed that Fenoxo said he/she wouldn't be updating CoC anymore, this being the case, why not make it open-source or allow a trusted group to continue CoC in your place?

However, they don't want to step on Fenoxo's toes should he finish it (and recently the team did work on it but the changes aren't in the published codebase yet) so, so they are forks such as  Revamp Mod which is moving from Flash to HTML5 with CoC HTML5
